This is one of our favorite go to spots for a good Margarita and Mexican food. They have Margaritas on tap that you can choose from, to make it into a flight. They have a large menu and everything we have had is delicious. They have a nice big patio that is perfect for an evening hanging with friends. Oh, and they also make their own tequila. Never have I ever had one that I can drink straight, and theirs... oh boy! It's good!
The food has very generous portions actually, too big. The food is average Americanized Mexican food. Nothing special, but better than Taco

We went for a very late lunch, the place practically deserted at 230 in the afternoon. So you would think the service would have been better with no one else to attend, but in reality, it was the opposite. They rarely came by, and when I was able to finally get the server's attention for the check while she was chatting with the bartender, rather than coming herself, she sent another server to help us. The food was so boring and bland with no seasoning to it really at all. The cheese dip tastes like white Velveeta. We had heard such wonderful things about this place, but it's just not worth it. There are much better Mexican restaurants. Don't waste your time, money, or calories here; just not worth it!

I really enjoyed my experience at Añejo Modern Mexican Cuisine! I visited last night. I had the Grande Chicken Burrito. It was sooooo good but not heavy and overwhelming. Very flavorful. I also had the Mango Passionfruit Cheesecake. OMG!!! It was great! Like really, I would recommend trying it. Lastly, I had the Pineapple Sunrise drink. I think it was a margarita. IT WAS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! I drank the whole thing. All you need is one just like I had LOL. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really chill. Everybody was vibin' and having a good time. The paintings on the wall were beautiful too. Great restaurant!

Went for lunch and ordered a taco salad. Fiance ordered a chicken burrito. We both were pleased with our food. Also ordered a couple of drinks and definitely got our moneys worth. It was lunch time and not busy. Definitely will be back for dinner to see if experience is just as good.

Best Mexican restaurant around the Johnson County area. I take friends here all the time when we are craving Mexican. The food is phenomenal and hands-down better than anything else locally available. The service is always been great. Huge fan of all of theirAñejo bowls, fajitas, the pollo playa, quesadillas, and guac is huge!! The margaritas are fantastic in the Mojito is one of the best I’ve ever had.

Horrible customer service. Waitress forgot to put our food order in. Came by to check on us about 30 mins after we ordered to see if we wanted the check. We told her we haven't even got our food yet. She looked confused and went to check on it. She came back to our table and told us she forgot to put our order in and said it was her fault they were busy and she forgot. We were going to just leave right there, but she kept telling us it would only be 5 mins. We asked if we could just talk to the manager. She seemed hesitant to get the manager and offered to instead just personally pay for a drink for us. We told her we didn't want her to do that. Then when the bill came, we asked her again if we could speak to the manager. We explained to the manager about our experience here and the manager said the waitress told her she didn't forget to put the order in. So we called the waitress back over and she lied to her manager about what she had said to us about forgetting to put it in. We then asked the manager what she can do to fix this situation and she said she was going to go "check" in the back. Then she went in the back and called the police. We didn't raise our voice at them or cause a scene in any way. We explained what happened to the police and they seemed to agree that the business handled this inappropriately. The police advised us to just pay them and then call the corporate number to speak to someone above the store manager about what happened.
