Amazing food and super friendly service. This is our favorite spot to eat, anytime we go to another restaurant we think ‘Damn, we should have went to Chero’s.’The barbacoa steamed beef is delicious. The horchata is a must when you visit.10/10 tacos.Try Chero’s if you haven’t!

Really good empanadas. Since I'm originally from Texas, the empanadas here in Kansas are kinda different from what I expect, but still very good. This was a "to go" order, but service was very good! My wife is extremely hard to please with Mexican food, and I was shocked that she really liked the empanadas! In San Antonio, TX, there are a kind of tacos called "puffy" tacos (it's a Texas thing). She said the tortillas on these empanadas reminded her of the puffy taco shells as far as flavor, and I think that's why she liked them so much. She also liked the beef picadillo filling, which is huge for her.
Food was not even good. Meat was dry and the tortillas on the tacos were bland.

Every time I show up here they treat me really good and I know it's authentic by the food and the great loving people. I also order 12 tacos plus everytime I show up just for me.

Had a plate of sopes and a bunch of tacos at this place. The sopes were okay, if not mind blowing. The tacos, however, were pretty seriously bad. The tortillas had been passed through too much lard… yes, they do that in Mexico, but at high heat. This place did it at low heat, and the tortillas were soggy with oil. The meat fillings were okay but not near “great,” and the salsas were humdrum. A disappointment…
