This is tough for me. We have been a regular customer of Johnny's in Olathe, KS until last night. Someone in a corporate office somewhere decided to completely annihilate the menu. They literally removed everything that made them what they were. From the Veal Sinatra to the Chanel ravioli, the Heart of Italy, the Waldorf salad, even the Shrimp Cocktail, ALL GONE! They now will serve you a hamburger or a turkey club. Want a fillet over 6oz? Yeah, not happening anymore. All the seafood is gone. All the veal is gone. The menu now looks like a cheap, roadside diner's menu. I feel terrible for the management and the staff. They take great care of us. They know us, they know what we like to drink, where we like to sit, etc. We have gone in about once a month for the last 10 years or so and I am heart broken that this happened. It pains me to see this happen to what was one of our go-to places and one of our favorites. Even our 10 year old loved this place. I give their food and service and atmosphere 5 stars but an overall rating of 2 stars simply because some guy in an office somewhere ruined this place. I hope whomever made this decision gets their head on right and puts things back.

Pretty expensive for what you get. The tiramisu was SO VERY disappointing. took one bite, told the server it wasn't good she agreed but charged us anyways lol. chicken Parmesan was basic and nothing special. My husband got the risotto which he usually loves but it was just kinda ok. If we're going to spend $100+ on dinner there's way more specialty in the area. The chocolate cake my friend got was REALLY GOOD. The bruschetta was also very good.

Overpriced. My grandson was not impressed with the flavor of his steak however it was cooked exactly as he ordered it. My friend's steak was overcooked.

What a great experience at Johnny’s. The ambience was really eloquent with good vibes. Our service was extremely pleasant, the food was what you would expect from a high end steak house. The happy hour prices were great. Check them out!
