Came in a couple of days ago and had some of the worst service from two young gentlemen. At first I spent 10 minutes in the store while they talked and joked behind the register. I asked one for help and with a sad look on his face he attempted to help me with a particular brine. After 2 minutes it was painfully apparent that he had never cooked or grilled BBQ before. The other employee was brought over to assist and had the rudest short answer, my way or the highway demeanor. He literally told me if you don't find a brine that will work at my store you don't know what you are doing. I know its hard to find good employees but it's also easy for me to never shop here again.

Recently bought some sauces from here shipping was so quick, but one other thing that was incredible was the prices! Amazon wanted triple the amount that Kansas City BBQ was selling them for. So thank you so so much, I appreciate you guys.

I came in the night before Thanksgiving, the gentleman working was very friendly and helped me find exactly what I needed. You don't find service like this too often anymore.
Looked on line they don't carry Curleys Hot and spicy BBQ sauce which I find very interesting as it's made locally.

My first time in KC and the employee hooked me up with a couple of sauce and dry rub recommendations, as well as where to go for local BBQ.One of those recommendations was Night of the Living BBQ Sauce. I cannot stress how good this sauce it~ it has become my benchmark for BBQ sauce and nothing else has come close. Don’t like Smokey w/ a touch of heat? This BBQ store has hundreds of options for any palate. See for yourself :)

I've always had to hunt for anything decent when it came to smoking or BBQ. From accessories and equipment to rubs and sauces. Until a few years ago when I found The Kansas City BBQ Store. Since that first dream like walk through of the magical doors into a land of bbqing paradise I have not gone anywhere else.
