This Restaurant was way above my expectations! The food was amazing, a super creative menu, fresh, hot, and flavorful. We had the best experience. Tried the stir fried noodles, sticky rice plate, cucumber salad, and the stick rice desert! Wow, it was all so good, and the staff were incredibly nice, and went above and beyond for us! Can’t wait to go back :)

I’ve known Chef Anourom for a couple years and have been meaning to try his food, what a lazy fool I’ve been! Stopped in w my Mom after her treatment and we were very impressed. Sampled the Yellow Curry and it’s very tasty I mean very! He suggested we try the Brussel Sprouts and Bun Rice Noodle Bowl w 1/2 Chicken and Beef. Brussel Sprouts we’re delicious and loved the flavor, the Noodles were TREMENDOUS with the heat managed perfectly w the other accompaniment of flavors and loved the sauces Peanut and Brown sauce both were scrumptious. Serious flavors can’t wait to try more.

Our lunch at Anousone was delicious. I had a vegan bang mi, which was a pleasant surprise. The Brussels sprouts were perfect, and the portion was generous, easily enough of a side dish for two or more diners. My wife said her pork chop gra pow was wonderful, maybe a little spicy for her taste, but she likes very mild food.

Awak provided amazing service and showed the true value of a concept kitchen - making their customer feel like they are everything. I’ve tried several places inside of Strang hall; the service provided by this individual was far above, and beyond my experiences from anywhere else in Overland Park. 10/10

The gentleman is great at getting you to order there, but sold me a $5 hamburger for $15. Tasted just like a burger you'd get at a little league ballpark, maybe slightly better.

Good flavorful food and variety of options. I had the Khao Poon which was delicious, but I wish it had more meat. My friends had the Banh mi and the Beef Pho which they also liked but also said that they could have more meat in their meals. Service was fast and staff was friendly. I would visit again because they had good flavor.

True original Thai/Lao cuisine. For something new and yet familiar, try Anousone Restaurant. The chef follows his Lao family tradition for good food.

What an amazing way to enjoy breakfast after wandering the Overland Park Farmers Market! Yes, breakfast! We had the pork congee to share and it’s such a wonderfully flavorful way to get the day started off right. And then! The chef graciously sent us a breakfast bahn mi. We might end up rolling out here! Yum!! This might have to end up being our breakfast stop from now on for Saturday markets. Thanks!!

My second time at Strang Hall and won't be the last. I recommend going here if you're not sure where you want to eat. There's so many options! And if you love food like me you can get bits and pieces from all the restaurants they have to offer and try a little bit of everything. This visit I finally got to try Anousone.I ordered mushrooms, papaya salad, red curry wings, and egg rolls. If you're getting a protein and wanting a nice side I would definitely get the mushrooms or the papaya salad which I loved especially. It was refreshing to pair with the wings. I'm not crazy about eggrolls in general but my partner liked them and so did I. But my favorite out of everything I ordered was definitely the wings. The skin was the perfect crispiness you'd want your wings to be and overall tasted delicious!! I only ordered six and wished I ordered 12 Ordering was a breeze and the wait was little to none. They definitely have a welcoming staff. I'll be coming here again just for those wings and whatever else Strang has to offer
