My first (and last time) was not a great experience. I didn't mind the long wait time but, when we got to our table and asked for water (it was faucet water), there was no ice in it. When we did ask for ice THERE WERE RED SPECKS IN IT!!!!! Gross. I asked the waiter to bring new ice and there were still red specks in it ???. The food was cold and subpar. Due to the unsanitary ice situation I would not return.

I ordered the Bennie's and Chorizo Bowl through door dash. Picked it up, brought it home and realized there was only one biscuit in the Bennie's. Website says there is two. Also there was hair in the box with the biscuit. We called them to have it fixed and they acted like it was no problem. Then when we got there, the manager proceeded to argue with my wife about how he's losing money, tried to blame it on door dash (again, we picked it up), treated us like liars, and then said the two biscuits is actually one biscuit cut in half so we only get one biscuit anyways. The food tastes good here, but that's absolutely no way for management to act. So yeah, if you order here and have any problems expect to get berated by management.

The service, drinks, food, and company were excellent. I didn't see one lousy plate or hear a complaint as I watched the servers deliver food to other tables. Our table ordered a pineapple mimosa, Mexican Sunrise, Skinny Margarita (served in a large bowl/glass), and a Bloody Mary. The drinks had a nice pour of alcohol and were made to perfection. I've heard nothing but good things about this restaurant, so I decided to try it with my brunch group. ARs is located on 80th & Metcalf. Parking is confusing, but available on the south side of the building in the lot and the garage adjacent/behind Casey's. The restaurant is tiny, and there's no waiting area except standing by the front door. The restaurant has a sign on the door to let patrons know there's a 2-hour dining limit for those waiting to be seated. The restaurant was clean, with two unisex bathrooms.

Food has been fantastic every time we’ve gone. Service can be a little slow which shocks me because that place has been busy when we’ve gone and I would have thought they would want to turn tables around quickly. It is pretty small and the concrete ceilings don’t help cushion any sound so it can get loud at times. Will continue to come here though. Still definitely recommend but don’t be in a rush when you go.

Won’t be back. Food is very expensive and not authentic, flavorless.3 dishes, 2 iced coffee, and a regular coffee = $70. Tip not included! Yikes.Caramel iced coffee was $8 and I’ve had better tasting coffee at Starbucks for almost half the price and I don’t even like Starbucks.Chilaquiles not authentic at all. Made with regular hard store bought tortilla chips and CUBED chicken. Not fresh! Not good.

Very delicious! The wait when we arrived (Sunday brunch time) was long but it turned out to be well worth it. This place seems to cultivate a trendy atmosphere and have a nice patio space. They have a nice cocktail selection and to eat I had the breakfast tacos. Best breakfast tacos I’ve had in KC so far for sure. My wife loved the fajita bowl and I did too. Unfortunately neither of us would recommend the pancakes but never fear because I think they do a great deal well otherwise. Definitely a fun brunch spot to bring friends to. Great atmosphere and I hope they can one day expand to a larger area.

Food-5/5 Service-5/5 Atmosphere-5/5 On the hottest day of winter we ventured out to AR's breakfast and brunch to enjoy their patio! I was a little skeptical given the wait was an hour, but I am glad we stuck around. The restaurant is small but filled with good music, cute decor, and great service. I ordered the fajita bowl and it was delicious! The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the combination of the sautéed peppers and onions with the salsa were just delicious!! I also ordered one pancake which I did not enjoy, but I am a self proclaimed pancake snob who only enjoys a very particular type of pancake. I also ordered a mango margarita which was light and refreshing. I would definitely recommend coming here for brunch!

This is the typical Instagram type restaurant, it's all show and no go. The food is overpriced, and something was 'missing' in every meal. If you have kids whatever you do don't get the kids breakfast, it's ridiculously overpriced and you only get two choices from the eggs meat and starch($8.99!?!). The pancake sounded good but the texture was like chewing on a piece of lightly flavored neoprene. It wasn't all bad though, the server ok and the coffee was actually pretty good.Overall I think it's pretty crazy that one adult and two kids was $49 before tax.

Cute location and fantastic food options for brunch! The venue is a bit smaller than I would like for how popular it is, but worth the wait if you can get a seat!

AR's serves a great selection of brunch selections from both sides of the border. I went with the country fried steak, which came with eggs and potatoes. All the food was delicious, service was efficient and the atmosphere was pleasant and quiet (at least when I was there around mid-morning on a weekday).Parking: The lot south of the building looked like it had a lot of available spots, but many of them were reserved for other nearby businesses.

This place is crazy good. We got there early on a Saturday which was a good move because we watched it fill up after. I started with a passion fruit mimosa and it was delightful. Very tropical and refreshing. To eat I did The Giant, which is there breakfast burrito. My life was changed in that moment. The burrito was topped with white queso which was divine, especially as it also covered some of the breakfast potatoes. The insides of the burrito were great and I loved it so much. Will def be back!
