Food is fine. Seating is cramped. The food ordering experience is chaotic. Have been forgotten about on a few occasions. Staff seems to be really trying but without a system it gets rough.

The menu was broad, crepes, multiple Benedict options. Ambiance was very comfortable. The food was delicious... especially the shareable apple pancake. This was a very pleasant dining experience. A must visit!

I used to love this place before the pandemic, but in the last 2 weeks I've been twice, both times with cold food that should've been hot, and very rude service. One time it was my friend, and today it was me. Both times there was great reluctance to fix the problem on the waitress' part. Both times the waitress yelled to the kitchen from the dining room that "the lady doesn't like her food." It was like the Soup Nazi! For my friend, the waitress did not offer to warm up the food, but instead forced some pie on her, for which she was billed. Today it was my eggs that came out cold. After waiting at least 10 minutes for something to be done, a companion asked her if she intended to warm up my food. At this point she did so very grudgingly, with loud complaints. All it took was a little time in the microwave. This waitress used to bus tables pre-pandemic, but now is the waitress, apparently the only waitress. It's too bad, because it used to be a great little place.

No idea how this place has 4+ rating. The food is poor quality and wayyy too expensive. Fruit was overripe and rotting, a friend found a hair in her hash browns, and altogether Waffle House would have tasted better and cost less. Not to mention there is a gaping hole in the bathroom ceiling dripping water, and the bathroom has no heating. So gross.

Absolutely loves this place! The food tastes homemade, aka amazing, and the service is the best in the city. You’re missing out if you haven’t given this place a chance.

Pretty good breakfast/brunch place. We’ve been here a few times. It’s busy. Lots of people in and out. Good for small and large groups. We’ve had some service issues but nothing too bad. I think they’re just busy and forget to bring things. Decently priced and just a cozy cafe! Lots of options.

Extremely, extremely rude staff. What an unpleasant experience. Never again and will be excited when this place closes and a new place opens with both stellar food and staff.

This was our first time coming here, and it was just okay at best. I am not sure I would be back. Our waitress wasn't very friendly or attentive. It was not overly busy. I had to ask for my drink to be refilled after 10 minutes of sitting empty. It was $3.50 and included free refills, so just one would have been nice. My friend asked for butter for her pancakes and she stated 'there is butter on them' and walked away. The food was okay. The hash browns were my favorite and very crispy. I ordered an omelette and it was just lacking flavor. It seemed on the higher end of pricing for what I received. Overall, we were just disappointed.

I've lived in KC for 6 years and Cozy's is one of my favorite lesser-known spots. Menu includes both traditional brunch fare as well as Greek lunch specialities. For something different, order the Croque Monsieur (must love cheese!) or the Avocado Croissant Sandwich, my go-to. The place is family owned by a polite and efficient Greek family who you will see buzzing around doing various tasks, giving the atmosphere a welcoming, homey vibe.

1st time visitors. All around great. Hashbrowns were perfect, bacon was hot, pancakes golden brown & lamb burger cooked perfectly. Wait staff had a mission to make us happy & serious about their job.
