Denny's is located at around 105th and Metcalf in Overland Park, KS. IT HAS BEEN THERE FOR YEARS. I had NOT stopped in for 2 eggs over hard and a few strips of bacon on bread for at least 8 years. I am really not a breakfast person, per se. THE PLASTIC MENU FOLDER OF WHAT DENNY'S SERVED WAS IMPRESSIVE. Despite the memu presentation, the 2 EGGS Over Hard were nicely prepared. However, the 4 bacon strips were extremely thin, paper thin, and about 7- 8 inches in length...barely vidible on the white plate. PRICES WERE HIGH... MORE THAN TRIPLED, SINCE MY LAST VISIT. NEEDLESS TO SAY, despite the waiter being polite, the food would not entice me to return. Very disappointing. Few people were dining at the 10 AM Hour I was there. Not Wheelchair nor Disabled Accessible. 4-23-2024. Mgb.

It was overall a great experience.The food was great, the portions were excellent, and the young lady who waited on us was extremely polite and helpful. Don't remember her name, but she served us around 4:30-5:30pm. Kudos to Her!!?

The lady who served me was nice,I hate I couldn't tip her due to being cashless although I had money but it was on debit cards,I came in for my annual bday breakfast,she gave great and fast service,wish I was able to tip her,but at the same time I couldn't help hearing a guy,a server of the company complain about customers like speaking on how they ate paying for their meals and etc.,I heard em say he dont give out nothing for free when i arrived asking about my bday breakfast and I heard em say why everybody paying with discounts,I feel if you dislike your job,change it or stay and conplain,but me seeing that gives me a reason not to come there or if I do,dont have hime as a server,just complaining the whole time during his shift,makes business look bad,but thanks to the lady who served me.

i think Denny's gets overlooked; which is too bad, at least in regard to this location. the waitstaff at this location does a very good job. the decor is old, but looks well maintained and at this point, it's so old it would be a shame to change it. maybe just replace the ceiling tiles with white ones, but leave everything else as is. it's got character. pleasant and comfortable.i'd say the same about the waitstaff - they seem pleasant and comfortable. coffee refills were provided before i realized i needed one. that's the sign of a good restaurant and a good waitress.it's great to have an alternative to the trendy "breakfast" places like first watch, big ripoff (biscuit), shack, etc.will definitely be going back to the ol' Denny's.

We waited forty minutes and all we got was coffee. They only had one server, but that server never came even close to our table. Very disappointed. This is not up to the usual standard on service.
