Closed before their posted time of closing and didn't make it in to eat. Will have to try again another time.

I ordered their tofu soup and I couldn't believe that they were serving the soup like that... It tasted like nothing and I was very very disappointed. I would rather go to other Korean restaurants in Overland Park and never go to this one ever again.

First time visiting here. Food is just alright. Not bad but not good. Had to pay first when I ordered. After that, everything is self-service. Had to bring all the utensils, plates and water etc by myself. I would rather not pay tips or just go to other Korean restaurant.

It’s a small place, friendly staff, fast service and the food was so good! I will definitely be back

First time coming here. As I was coming in the gurl (waitress) is cleaning the windows where we entered. I smiled and said hi. In response she just looked at me like she was annoyed. Oh well! I come in and see evidence self served. Ok. I go up and order, my bill comes out to 14 and some change. Waitress gives me change in one dollar bills, not the expected $5 bill. I'm sure she expected a tip. How do you tip someone when they look at you all funny when you just walked in. And it's not like she's serving me, I'm serving myself. It's like McDonald's and any other fast food restaurants. We pay upfront, get our food, and dispose of it ourselves. When my order is up, she calls me to come and get it. But I noticed there were 2 other customers that came after me, she does not ask them to come and get, she actually goes to bring it to their tables. I'm guessing they probably tipped her when they were ordering. Oh well. Don't matter to me. I didn't like that girl, she was rude and shouldn't be someone running the front of the restaurant.

My friend and I stumbled upon this place after going to Ssong's, which is in the same area. I've really been craving some Korean soups, and have been looking for places in KC. I haven't been to many so far, and this one wasn't too bad. The serving portions are big and food came out pretty promptly. The japchae was good, and my friend enjoyed her short ribs! I ordered the yukgaejang. The serving size was big, but it tasted a little bland/diluted. It wasn't a bad experience, but not the best soup I've had.

Small restaurant with a concise menu. Most part of the service is self-service (order at counter, water jugs in fridge, etc), but the staff was friendly to guide through the process.Although the food was a bit generous in oil department, it was flavorful and outstanding that I have no regrets paying the price for.

The staff is very friendly and the food is awesome. The portions seem like they're intended to be shared so make sure to bring a friend.

I was disappointed with my experience here for few reasons. For the price, the portion was less than ideal and you get only three small sides (banchan). Their kimchi was chewy and didn't taste right. The only beer option was Coors light and miller light. The atmosphere is not amazing, you order at the counter, and expected to put away your dishes and your trays. I hope they improve because a city can never have enough Korean restaurants.

Excellent Korean food, with generous side dishes. I am always amazed how authentic, and tasty, all the different dishes are. The staff are lovely, especially the middle aged Korean guy who works there. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! Huge shout out to Shin and the waitress on staff today for their hospitality. We loved the pork belly, lettuce, and soybean paste dip. Massive portion. Wasn't sure if we could finish it at first but we ended up cleaning the plate. Excellent flavors with high quality meat. Fantastic side dishes with refills offered too: kimchi, bean sprouts, broccoli, and radish. Dumplings were cooked to order. We left very satisfied and happy!

Spicy pork belly's flavor was really great but the portion size was much too small for the pre-tax, pre-"convenience fee" price of $18. Even the rice portion was too small. Seaweed rolls were unimpressive. The ox bone soup was basically flavorless... just sort of grayish brown water. The flavor on the kimchi was good but the pickled ratish was too sweet and the color seemed off.

It is good but it is on the expensive side. You get 3 side dishes unlimited. Kimchi, bean sprouts, fish cake. I got the beef bulgolgi hot stone. It was yummy. This place gives me cafeteria style vibes with its silver tray and place it on the rack when you're done deal.
