Staff was nice, service was good. Unfortunately the cook overcooked our steak badly. Ordered a medium rare and was served well done. Also ordered additional menu items and didn't receive them at dinner service, but was billed for them.Overall, nice place but won't be returning. I can stay at home and overcook my own streaks if necessary.

Food, service, and atmosphere are 100% excellent! We ate the hibachi for a birthday party and the chef did not disappoint! He was so talented and made watching the food cooking process so much fun! I had the filet and shrimp. The filet was sooo tender, it was like butter! Everything else you get with your meal was very tasty! You get soup, salad and all the cooked fixings -- rice, veggies and your protein choice. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. You will not be disappointed! They do have. Regular menu and sushi if you didn't want the hibachi.

I've eaten here 2-3 times and I honestly don't know why I ever went back. The food is so bland. And I don't mean that it's not spicy, I don't like spicy food. I mean it completely lacks flavor. Not a fan.

Great food every time. The most delightful staff. We have been coming here for years. They always remember us and ask about the kids. They genuinely care about their guests and make sure you are happy. Polite, friendly staff and delicious food, what more could you want in a quaint little sushi restaurant?

Why in the name of all that is good, would you put fried chicken on ramen. It immediately gets soggy and disgusting. The broth was gross, and the fried egg was so overcooked to the point that I gagged. The ramen was 20$ and was terrible. You can get way better ramen at ramen bowls in Lawrence for just 15$. Do not go here for sushi or ramen. The sushi was expensive and my girlfriend couldn’t even finish it.

The food is great. My teriyaki chicken was superb. They keep a tight schedule so he on time.

Tried to go on Sunday. Google said they were open. Sign on door said they should be open. Doors locked and lights off at 12:30 p.m. No sign saying they were closed.

This is the best Japanese steakhouse I have been to. The food is incredible, it is all homemade with heart, not like the food at your typical hibachi grill. The owners and staff are very nice, friendly, and take care of every customer well. I can’t recommend Han Shin highly enough.

Ramen was grand!Bento box was ok, swordfish not worth the price with the taste. Everything in bento box was bland. Best thing was spicy tuna roll.Service was ok but wouldn’t drive out of our way to come here again.

The sushi was decent but they need to fix their menu so people are aware there is freaking Sriracha on some of the rolls. It would have detoured us from wasting 17 on that one.

I love tempinaky, but this was terrible. The restaurant had only 2 tables and we were rushed through. Food was expensive. Would recommend you go elsewhere.

I have been coming to Han Shin for close to 20 years. My dad introduced me to Bonnie and Tommy many years ago and I just can't seem to find a place that matches their care for their customers. They treat us like family when we are dining in and you can't beat their quality and presentation. Sure, there are places with more grills and that host larger parties, but this truly feels like you are dining with friend when you are at Han Shin. They are family owned and operated. Located in the heart of Johnson County, you really won't find a better spot. In all the times that I have been in... whether with family, coworkers, out with friends or on a date... I have not had a bad experience. And as my dad would say... its as close to authentic to Japan as you are going to get (he would know, he is japanese). Support Local and check Han Shin Out.Normal order: Filet Mignon, Scallops, Fried Rice and Rainbow Roll or Yellowtail Sashimi. :)

Will forever love this place. Everyone there have known my parents from coming there so much and now since the passing of my father I will continue to go for him as much as I can!! So delicious so friendly!

Rudest hostess i ever met in my life. Doesn’t know how to deal with customers and they charge tip without asking you, only gave one star because the chief was so nice.

The food is horrible. We asked for a grill and they said we would need to order for minimum 5 people to start the grill. The behavior was unpleasant as well. The sushi tasted bad, old..Feedback to owner: We did not finish 90% of sushi, no one came to ask about food quality, kids were not jumping up and down..whole restaurant was empty except for 2 customers.. (was not expecting lies on top of bad experience)Kid-friendliness: Not at all kid friendly
