Terrible food. The only good thing was the chips and salsa. Enchiladas should never be made with flour tortillas. The sauces and beans tasted like they came straight from a can.

This restaurant is not friendly to people with gastric sleeves. I order off the kids menu everywhere I go because I can't eat much and hate to waste food. I was told I couldn't order off the kids menu. Then I was told it would be an extra $3 if I wanted to not waste food. I wouldn't get anything different from a child but would have to pay more to eat less. I didn't even order a soda. I had water. I have even eaten from the kid menu here before but I guess it depends on the waiter/manager. This is the first restaurant that hasn't allowed me to order off the kids. I paid for the 1 soda my partner had and my water and then left. We didn't even finish the drinks. Very sad with this economy they would turn down business. What does my age matter in the long run? I have the stomach of a 5 year old. We won't go back and I can't recommend it for people with tiny tummies. The food is usually OK though the service sucks at best normally. Olive Garden, Chili's, Applebees and Longhorn down the street are all happy to let me order off the kids menu. No questions asked.

I went to Kmachos for the first time yesterday for my birthday. our server was very nice and gave us some recommendations for food. when the food came out everything looked and tasted great. As I kept eating I found a short straight black hair stuck to one of the mushrooms in my burrito. I didn’t really want to have them remake the dish but definitely wasn’t going to keep eating the one I had. We showed the server, he asked if I wanted it remade, I waffled on it a bit then decided to have it remade because he assured me we’d get it quickly and he takes my original dish away. A minute later the manager comes out and essentially says since we were seated outside it could’ve been anyone’s hair and that they don’t remake dishes for people and that if we want it remade he’d have to charge us again.. He then goes on to say that there are no female cooks in the back, as if none of his male cooks have short black hair. I told him I know it’s not any of my or my family’s hair, because we all have curly hair. The server had also already taken my original dish away at that point and I wasn’t going to then take it back, as he suggested. I have nothing to gain from lying about a foreign hair in my food, I didn’t even really want to have it remade in the first place because we were out with my 3 kids and they were already getting restless. A simple apology and saying he would take the charge off the bill would have sufficed. Instead, he made it seem like we were ridiculous for even bringing it to their attention. I told him that it was fine, I didn’t want another dish made but he needs to take the charge for the first one off my bill. Because of how this situation was handled by the manager, I am giving the restaurant one star; we won’t be back again and definitely won’t be recommending it to anyone else. We were there on April 13th at 5:30p.

Food was great! I had a golden chicken burrito. My friend had a steak burrito. We both took half our food home since the burritos were so large. When they played birthday music, it was pretty loud, but ended pretty quickly. Will return!

Update 4/8/24: Continuing to give this restaurant a chance and had yet another disappointing experience. Again, my husband and I ordered Beef Nachos and an El Patron.When we arrived to pick it up there were customers looking over a menu. I asked the young lady if I could grab my order while they were deciding what they wanted for dinner and she refused so I had to wait for over 10 minutes while they decided and then ordered.To add insult to injury when I got home my order was incorrect - yet again. Instead of nachos I got quesadillas and my husband's steak and shrimp for the El Patron were both cooked incorrectly. The steak looked old and reheated, grossly over cooked and the bacon on his shrimp was almost raw while the shrimp were also over done and rubbery.I took pictures of my food but didn't get them of my husband's dish because he was so mad he slammed it in the trash before I could.When I contacted the restaurant Alec, one of the managers tried to chastise me for coming to get my order close to closing time (I'd ordered an hour and a half before closing). He acknowledged that quality and accuracy slips during that time of day. I explained to him that when the doors are open quality and accuracy should be a consistent focus. He refused to replace or refund the order in it's entirety, stating that if I'd called the night before he would've simply reversed the transaction. By the time I got home and realized the inaccuracies of our order the restaurant was closed.I called the next day at opening time which was the soonest I could reach someone. When I asked him to reverse the transaction the day I spoke with him, he refused. Please see the photos - does this look like an order of nachos to you?!? In addition, Alec was very rude and hung up in my face ending our phone conversation.Needless to say, we won't be returning. We've brought people to this restaurant, recommended it to many who have become customers and we've celebrated special occasions here. My son and his girlfriend got nachos and tacos ?.Upon arrival the staff wasn't overly friendly and didn't thank us for our business. That always puts me off when patronizing a business. Upon getting home to enjoy our food we realized our cheese dip was very runny (not the usual texture), there were absolutely no bacon wrapped shrimp in our entrées (which are the stars of the show) and the steak especially mine was very over cooked (usually a medium well but was over well done). Needless to say we were very disappointed and contacted the restaurant promptly. I felt they should've replaced the entire meal for us both but there was no offer to do so.I have really enjoyed this restaurant over the years and hope this review will call their attention to some much needed improvements regarding quality of food and service, as well as, improving the accuracy of filling their orders.
