Went on a Sat. at 1:00 with 5 in the party. Server came by and told us she'd be right with us. Waited at least 20min. for water. Then another 10 min. for our cocktails. She took our order and left, then came back 15 min. later and asked us all what we ordered again as she didn't put our order in. She dropped off our avocado toast appetizer and left. Food came out 20 min. later. Ran out of water for the table so we went to the bar and took a carafe of water ourselves. Food o.k. service was poor. This lunch was 2.5 hours long due to poor service. Not the usual service I expect from Louies. Very disappointed as it was also my Bday. Free beignets but that did not make up for the incredibly poor service. Truly disappointed. ????

Sunday should not be any different than other nights there but this visit seemed to be the exception not the norm. We have been here many times and food never disappoints but the service was sorely lacking this visit. Live acoustic music was not adding to the ambiance but rather taking it away. The Wine and spirits are always delish.

Came here within a few friends, was easily able to get a reservation and promptly seated. I came across this place based on reviews and gave it a try. We were pleased with the quick service and the aesthetics of the way the food looked however it was still on the bland side to all of us. Some items not pictured that we also ordered were the artichoke dip and guacamole. Overall it was okay but lacking some more flavor. I will say the chicken piccata was on the lighter side so it was pretty good for those who don't like deep fried heavy crusted chicken, BUT still a little bland.

Great menu & food. Noisy if you are near or in the bar area.

Noise was beyond awful! My husband ordered the fish and chips which had been recommended. He said it was the worst he had ever had! Like two tiny fish sticks with heavy flavorless batter! On a plate full of French fries for $20. That was it! I had crab cakes which were quite good and large; however, they were on a hot terrible too spicy sauce which with the first bite I had to grab ice water! Left my lips and mouth burning!. The wedge salad was okay, but I have had better elsewhere! The manager did give us a gift card after our polite critique and asked for another chance. Appreciated the gesture. We are not inclined to return and will not recommend!

The food, drinks and service are always outstanding. The last two times we've dined here the noise level is so high that we can barely talk to one another. I'm sure it has to do with the proximity of the tables and some voices just being more pervasive than others. It's concerning and will inform our decision going forward.

Just had dinner to celebrate my birthday, ordered the pumpkin mascarpone ravioli and it's as delicious as it sounds. Never had a bad dish here. Every dish has always surpassed expectations and the staff is always kind. Highly recommend this establishment for each occasion

My fiancé and I absolutely loved the gluten free fish and chips. It gave us no negative reaction. Will definitely be back.

This place is awesome! We live in St. Louis and have been here the last two times we visited KC. We had large groups and they were very accommodating. Food is great and reasonably priced, (per person price includes our adult beverages) service is quick and friendly and a great atmosphere. Plan on going again next time we visit KC.

Lovely! Don’t remember their name but I went in early afternoon on a Tuesday, ordered a glass of wine, and just sat and relaxed. The bartender who had short hair with green tips and wore glasses was so sweet and attentive! She even gave me some extra Brussels sprouts the kitchen had made and when I left my card in the check book she ran out to my car to give it to me! Awesome bartender and amazing location.

My Celiac son was finally able to have a fried chicken sandwich and it was fantastic! It was so big he had to take the other half home. Thank you for having so many great gluten free selections. We will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian options

Great Sunday brunch! Breakfast burrito is tasty, and not dry. Classic eggs Benedict were the best around! The nook we sat in had only a few tables and was cozy. Good service and nice conversation with the manager.
