What’s meshuggah about this place are its prices—they’re on the high side for a bagel bakery. The product itself was OK—about what you’d get at Einstein Bros.

I frequent here often but today the bagel was thin and stale. The majority of the time the bagels are the best. Hopefully it was a one time instance.

Horrible experience with employee who would not warm up my coffee. Instead chose to argue with me that I put in too much creamer. Seriously?? Great bagel, but I won't spend my money to be treated crummy by a grouchy employee.

We needed a mid morning snack as we tried out this local bagel shop. The bagels were delicious. They have sweet and savory selections and a huge variety of cream cheese. I just wish they opened

Why do bagels in more expensive cities have more cream cheese, are consistently crunchy, and cost less? Bagels here are under baked with no diversity in texture. 2 stars because I guess it’s the best in town, but this shop sets the bar very low.*Edit*The bagels have gotten much better. The exact opposite of my previous review. I can’t complain anymore.
Delicious bagels cooked perfectly. at 11 they were nearly sold out of most flavors but the three or four that they did have left, Poppyseed, everything, garlic and whole wheat, were delicious.I had the rosemary cream cheese, and it was amazing as always.Ambience is minimal, but the place was packed and clean while the servers maintained wonderful attitudes.Dietary restrictions: Very specific dietary guides are posted.

You know what's horrible about this place?????It's too far from me!!What absolutely delicious bagels and flavored cream cheese. The rye bagel is the best bagel I've ever had EVER!I got a dozen to take home and immediately regretted not getting more for the freezer.I can't wait for another trip to the KC for this!!

Have been a loyal disciple of the shop on 39th since they opened. Bought a half dozen in OP yesterday and... it's round bread, not bagels. Hopefully it was just an off day.
