We were in town from Vegas, for the vision automotive conference, staying at the Marriott. We ordered $100 in food and it was delivered with zero plates or cutlery (I did let them know I was staying in a hotel and needed stuff.) We ordered pastas, salads and pizza and also dessert.Let me say the person that takes phone orders Jeffrey is great. He had great answers and recommendations.Being in the industry myself I was really sad that we got all this food with no way to eat it. My kids were so hungry they just ate with their hands. I did end up calling back because we had some missing items too and the manager, Conner was amazing and fixed everything. He made it all right.Tho the situation wasn't my favorite.. the food was ? and so was the customer servixe. I would order again just based on that. And the fact that the manager Conner took his time to listen and make everything right makes it a place I will always come back to. It's refreshing to have businesses that still care.

I ordered the delivery of a Prime Cut pizza to my hotel, they got it there in record time and even brought it to my room! Very friendly help during the ordering process and delivery! Now, about the pizza.... WOW, is all I can say. Thin crust, tasty sauce, lots of cheese and loaded with meat, and I mean the GOOD stuff. Each slice even had its own slice of bacon! Any time I am in the Overland Park area, I will be trying a different pizza from Minsky's, but I was SHAMED by students in Wichita (3 hours away) because I didn't try the wings from Minsky's so CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

Always enjoy eating here. Tonight, they messed up our order a bit - we asked for extra pepperoni and then half extra Italian sausage. The one they brought out was half pepp, whole sausage. Not that big a deal and we would've just accepted it as is, but they had already started working on a new pie for us, no charge. Great service, and we had plenty to take home with us this time and enjoyed it again later.

Decent pizza place for a more contemporary American palette. Several topping loaded options of pizzas to choose from and your typical regionally named options. Service has always been fine and the wait is usually not all that long. I don’t understand the hype around it, it’s a good pizza, but nothing to really write home about.

I'm not sure what is happening with Minsky's. What used to be one of the best pies in town has been sadly tarnished by bad service, and inconsistent quality due to locations such as this one. This is the Minksy's I order from most frequently and we've had a barrage of issues, especially in the last year that have included forgotten orders, massive stacks of pepperonis (not spread out, just like a stack of 10 on a pie), cold food, and the worst - a delivery order that never showed. We've chatted on the phone with management several times throughout these issues, and never had a good experience. It's been a hassle consistently for the last six months or so. I love Minsky's pizza. To me it's nostalgic and is a KC classic, but it's hard for me to order from this location when I know I'll be rolling the dice on if I'll actually get dinner, and if it arrives, if it'll live up to the standard (and price tag) that accompanies it.
KC has great bbq. The pizza scene isn’t so lucky. Haven’t found good pizza there yet and Minskys is no better. Bland cheese. Bland sauce. Bland. Boring.

01 Feb 2024 - In anticipation of a gathering at 6pm today, I placed an on-line order for the Metcalf location with a pickup time of 5:40pm for three pizzas (approx. $60). I arrived at 5:35pm and the slacker cashier said there was no order prepared for me. We checked by name and by telephone number - still nothing. Figuring I mistakenly ordered from the College Blvd location (equidistant to my destination) I left and went to that second location. There, Tim the manager was sympathetic and helpful. He tracked down the error by speaking with the Metcalf location (this wasn't an solution offered by any Metcalf staff member). I did actually place the order at Metcalf and, according to Mark (manager at Metcalf) my order was cancelled and the pies really should have been ready for me. Tim (College location) rushed the order and provided me a $10 discount (Thanks!) and I was only 20 minutes late to my dinner. I later called Mark at the Metcalf location to confiirm my lost order was not credited to my card. Mark (Metcalf location) was apologetic but I remain UNIMPRESSED. Kudos to Tim (College location), although the pies themselves were only average and pricey for what we ended up eating. All told, I won't be ordering from either of these Minsky's location again. Disappointing overall....

We absolutely love this restaurant and the people who work there. I have some health needs that limit what I can eat. They have never gotten my order wrong. Dine in or ordered online, my pizza is always perfect. Thank you so much.
