Pizza dough was worst we ever had there. Went to old store for many years before it closed. We were so glad to see new Metcalf store. Turned out to be big mistake. We had out of town family visiting and even they that it was horrible.

This was my very first visit here. I am so glad that I decided to eat here on my birthday! After I ordered and paid for my pizza, I sat down and was waiting for my order to come out. Well, a young man named Garrett brought my pizza out to me and I smiled and said thank you. I was already thinking “wow, this is a warm and friendly place”. Next thing I know, I hear a voice behind me saying “hey bud, here’s a cookie for you, for your birthday; it is my hope that you enjoy the rest of it!” What he didn’t know, is that he saved my birthday by being kind and having/showing heart!! This young man is amazing and full of potential and GOOD!! Thanks Garett, you’re awesome!! :)

Since rebranding from the franchise I’ve only eat at Buffalo State Pizza once. You can tell a difference in the pizza and not really for the better. The crust, the sauce, toppings... are just different. Hopefully they can make some changes as we loved the Papa Kenos pizza. They made my pizza timely and were very friendly. We will try again later to see if anything has improved!

1st off, huge slice. 1 slice was defenough for an average meal. They have a lot of slices to choose from. I got the Vinnie. The crust was good towards the outer part. Crispy and a little charred, just how it should be. When you go towards the center it gets soggy. I prefer a little more sauce but that didnt take away from the pizza. Pretty greasy but overall a good slice.

This place is such a treat to have. Right in downtown Overland Park, perfect for gathering there, or taking it to go. Big slices, great toppings. Awesome pizza.

Excellent old fashion thin crust (but not crunchy) pizza like my Uncle Louigi used to make (if I had an Uncle Louigi). Why have I been ordering pizza from papa john's and the dreadful crap from domino's when one of the best pizza parlors in the metro area is just a mile and a half from my house?? Doh!
We ordered on line and got a call to confirm what we wanted. When the pizza arrived it was hot, however the crust was not cooked. It was very doughy. I called and they did offer to send another pizza, when I said no, there was no offer for a credit off our next order. We had to finish cooking the pizza to eat it. It was tasty and had plenty of toppings. There was a taste of pepperoni near the middle. The entire outside of the pizza was pretty much just dough. We also had to heat up the cinnamon sticks so the frosting would spread. If we wanted to cook our pizza, we would have gone to a take and bake place. I’m a bit disappointed in their recovery as well.

It's pretty good pizza. Not the best, but far from the worst. The thin crust was neither too crunchy nor too soft. Sauce was satisfying, but nothing out of the ordinary. A single slice is enough for an entire meal. They sell 26" pizzas, which are almost comically huge. Restaurant itself is clean and staff is friendly. If you are looking for a safe pizza place that most people will like, this is a good choice. They are not trying to reinvent pizza, and sometimes that's perfect.

Aye we walked in, placed our orders and sat down. Bout 10 minutes later the biggest slice of pizza was gifted to my friend. Then a couple minutes later ours showed up. Sure as gods got sandals that was the best pizza ive had. Can reccomend
