A decently-sized lunch buffet for a weekday. The buffet even included some sambal and idlis which were alright. The curries, naan, biriyani, and mango lassi were good. The desserts on the other hand were decent although only vanilla ice cream was offered.

Placed an order for Chicken tikka masala, naan and their so called chicken 65 biryani. First they missed the instructions for paper plates and cutlery in the order. No big deal I thought food will make it up. Chicken tikka masala , chicken was over cooked so little chewy too running gravy just OK taste, Naan was quiet huge but soft. Chicken biryani in no shape of form it was biryani, instead Chinese chicken pulao. Just average food, I am not going there again.

Just trying to order food from here was a headache. On their website, they show their weekday hours as 11 - 2, then 5 - 10:15. They also promote a discount code to give you 20% off your online order. So at 12:50 on a Tuesday, I decided to try them out for lunch. I selected some items and put in the discount code. It turned out that the discount was only applied to a single item. But also, even though they were said to be open for lunch another hour and ten minutes, the online ordering said the first available time for pickup was 5:40. So basically, it seems they do not really want you to be ordering from them.
I haven’t been here in about 3 years. Food was mostly as good as always. Service was just about nonexistent as there was one busboy, and we had to ask for water refills, and the plates piled up. There were only 4 occupied tables at lunch, far from the days past. Could have just been an off day.It was also just under $50 for two of us with tip… no extras, no water, etc.
Regrettably, my visit to Ruchi left me unsatisfied. Surprisingly, there was no biryani on the menu, and the overall lack of spice in the dishes failed to capture the essence of authentic Indian cuisine. Disappointing for those seeking a flavorful experience.
