Been wanting to come here for years. I worked on Metcalf and drove by every day. I was always on my to, or from work. Now I'm retired and go to breakfast 2-3 times a week. I had the Country Scramble. My friend had the Cowboy Omlete. Both were delicious. Atmosphere was quiet, quaint. Service could not have been any better. The coffee never ran dry. I'll be back again next week. Good job, Sante Fe Cafe!!!

A lovely breakfast and lunch diner. Our server was hustling and very polite. The food was delicious and the portions were appropriate. The decor and upkeep of the facility were wonderful. Even the bathrooms were clean and well decorated.Wheelchair accessibility: The man at the table next to us was in a wheelchair, so I assume it was accessible.
Maybe it’s because it was a togo order and the egg continued to cook in the box? But overcooked eggs Benedict with barely any hollandaise sauce just was not hittin... I’d be willing to give them a second chance tho because the cinnamon roll that I thankfully ordered as well, was pretty fire!

Very excellent place to go the staff is by far the friendliest and the manager always makes sure you're taken care of! The food is the closest to old fashioned home style food that I've found anywhere around Kansas City ......Feels like youre eating at a diner down by the Ozarks!!!

Great spot to grab a hearty breakfast! $16 average per person, including beverage. Nice, clean, and fairly roomy, unassuming atmosphere, friendly staff. 10 am saturday morning, moderately busy. We thought our service was a bit slow at first, but easily forgiven due to near capacity patronage.We had the Conestoga from the big cowboy breakfast selection and the Irish Benedict breakfast. I'm almost certain I saw a claim to the world's best pancake, so that had to be ordered and sampled. We also ordered a cinnamon roll to go.Insert scene from Anchorman: That's a bold claim, Cotton.. Let's see how it plays out for them..It was good.. I have had better. Everyone knows the syrup counts, but this one missed, so I will say overall it was good.. not world-class.. the cinnamon roll, on the other hand...smashing success.Both breakfasts were very well executed. Savory and filling, the portion to cost is nicely balanced. And the most peculiar thing is: the silverware feels really great in the hand. I mean.. what an odd thing to notice, huh?Our orders didn't arrive quickly, nor did it take an eternity. Hot, fresh and delicious, I'm glad they didn't compromise quality for speed.. and it was moderately busy, so...We're looking forward to our next visit to try new dishes!
