Love this authentic restaurant. The atmosphere is always BUSY. The service is quick but you have to wait due to the high demand. The food is A1. Orders consisted of (beef cheek, steak and Birria tacos and Chips and Queso). Shoutout to them highly recommended

It’s great food. Order at the counter, pick it up, top your tacos, sit wherever. I prefer this casual environment for most meals. Properly priced in my opinion. Can’t wait to go back.

This is our favorite taco place! The food is delicious and I can get beef cheek here. I placed a carry out order and service was prompt and courteous. They made sure I had everything I needed before I left. I cannot say enough good things about Taqueria La Nueva!! Love this place ♥️

I don't get the good reviews. First of all it's a place you order at the counter and they call your number to come pick it up at a window. (They also have a place for "tip" when they ring you up, that you actually have to decline or tip. That is very confusing, since they don't actually wait on you at all. So it's for the service that you haven't gotten)? My husband and I both ordered two shredded beef tacos each. (We also asked for water, which they don't "give" you, she said you have to buy a bottle of water ok). The tacos were corn, soggy soft and very greasy. The grease tasted old and dirty, one might even say it had a fishy taste. The tacos came on a plate, flat and open face with a pile of shredded beef on each, with sautéed onions and a grilled pepper on the side. They have a bar set up that you can top them yourself. It had cucumbers, white onion, limes, cilantro, radishes ... . It's not anything I generally put on a taco. Where was the cheese, lettuce, tomatoes? They also have a separate bar for salsa (hot salsa, green salsa, a cold habanero cheese sauce, plus one I can't remember). We thought the whole thing was just awful tasting. It all tasted old and greasy. We each took a couple of bites of taco trying different sauces to see if it would help. It did not. We threw away almost a complete 4 tacos and headed next door to pick up subs at Planet Sub. We love Mexican food, but this was a big fat pass. Too many other good Mexican restaurants to choose from. Sooo sad! FYI, no one came by to see how it was, but we do wonder if they noticed our almost full plates of tacos laying in the grey tub that you have to place your dirty dishes into yourself (not complaining about that, but why are we asked to tip).

Love the street tacos and the kids love them too! Plenty of sitting room for small or large groups. The staff has been open to answering our questions and assisting us with salsa recommendations based on spicy levels. I would recommend to anyone wanting to get street tacos!
