I'll never eat here as I saw a manager or someone harassing and berating a homeless man in the back of the restaurant. I understand if you don't want him hanging around, but be a decent human and treat him with kindness. The man that was yelling was an older man with white hair. Very upsetting to see this occur. Be better.

Came In today. The guy working, got us our table, and drinks, got our appetizers, put in out order, checked on us, did EVERYTHING and then some girl that had walked by us earlier to ask if he got our order yet, started hounding us for a tip when we were getting ready to leave.... she didn't take care of us but the guy doing all of her job for several tables was just the busser. She came over, searching our table and asked us where our tip was and if we were going to leave one... and then started talking about people who don't tip... We begged him to keep the tip. He was taking care of several tables, and then she just showed up when it was time for the money. Will be calling management tomorrow. Busser needs to be recognized, he's very valuable, if it weren't for him we'd never come back.

My favorite find in O.P. The staff, the food, the atmosphere, perfect for a chill night with friends. Plus amazing Margarita's. Nothing flashy or fancy, just pure wonderfulness.

Hadn't been there in over 35 years. Still a great sit down meal. They made us feel right at home. Going to have to start going more often. Prices were reasonable.
Great food! Everything is really high quality! We especially enjoy taco salads, enchiladas & burritos! Service is very good too!

This review has nothing to do with the service or ambiance. The service was incredible and friendly. Just some feedback for the chef.It also has nothing to do with cheap price - as someone who grew up with quality Mexican food close to the border, I have been to incredible cheap Mexican restaurants and terrible high end Mexican restaurants.I ordered the L1 special, the two enchiladas with rice and beans, one beef, one cheese.The enchilada sauce tasted almost like it had too much tomato paste in it, I felt like it was the tomato sauce from an Italian restaurant - I couldn’t taste the chiles that had that the wonderful flavors. It wasn’t completely inedible, but pretty mediocre. I don’t know if the sauce was made in-house or bought.Typically I don’t like chips that are over salted but this was the other end of the spectrum with absolutely zero salt.Fix these problems and you’re on your way to a more authentic Mexican restaurant.

Torreador has been a staple DTOP establishment to my family and I for 30+ years.
The food is fantastic, the margs are great, the staff has always been amazing.
The thing I love most is probably their salsa - can’t put a finger on why it’s so good, just something about it!

We have been here several times and never disappointed. Good food, good service, great prices and cool atmosphere. Its not authentic as its more Tex- Mex. We will definitely be visiting this restaurant again. Keep up the good work Torreador Crew!

Although the table we sat down at was not very clean, the service was pretty good and food was decent for Mexican food in Kansas. Reasonable prices were a plus as well.
