We had excellence service, the rolls are amazing and the food was pretty good. The steak was not as flavorful as I expected. all in all it was a great experience!

Our waiter was named Pat. He is very friendly and his service is great. Our dinner was served very quickly. We never had to ask for refills on our drinks. The food was really good. We highly recommend restaurant. The prices are very reasonable.

Coffee lukewarm. Baked potato still somewhat hard and only warm. Green beans mostly raw. Maybe cook was having a bad day or maybe just a bad cook. Unsure if we'll give it another try. Expected more for $25/plate. However, the rolls were fantastic! The only plus for the visit.

Our waitress Delila was exceptional! The food was delicious, hot, fresh rolls. Fried okra, and a well marbled ribeye cooked to perfection. The salmon with a berry ancho sauce and baked sweet potato, so good. Bacon wrapped filet was also so delicious. All of us were so pleased with the service and the yummy food. Don't miss out! Get to Colton's Steakhouse!!

Went to Colton’s for lunch. They offer free peanuts before seating you. My guest had the mushroom Swiss burger with fries and a bottle of root beer. I had the grilled shrimp on rice with a garden side salad. The hostess and wait staff was excellent. The free bread rolls were fabulous! Light fluffy and moist! They provide whipped butter with the bread rolls and the combo is heavenly. The grilled shrimp was great. The rice pilaf was not so great. I don’t know if it is supposed to be “al denté” but it was. I don’t expect or want crunchy rice, lol. The garden salad was good. My guest wasn’t asked how well-done they wanted their burger (I don’t think the restaurant normally asks either) which is something we have come to expect at Steak places, but my guest enjoyed their food nonetheless. If you order a bottle of root beer, you shouldn’t expect free refills of course, lol. Overall I thought it was pretty good, especially for a small town like this. I will have to go back to try the steak sometime. Prices are in line with what you would expect at a place like this, similar to a “Texas Roadhouse” restaurant.
I have only visited once. Maybe it was an off day.A friend and I came here around 445p on a Friday night. It wasn't busy at all. We waited extensive amounts of times for our waitress to take our order for drinks/appetizers/meals/refills/food service/drink delivery. Maybe they were short staffed. But as I said, when we arrived they weren't busy.Also, on separate occasions, my friend and I both encountered a staff member in the restroom. This staff member engaged with both of us and told us Colton's was hiring and that it is "the best place to work". Thanks, but we have jobs...?Food was mediocre, not good enough to make up for the super poor service. Like I said, maybe an off night, or short staffed, but bad enough that I won't return.

The food was amazing as always. I don't make it back as often as I'd like, but always make time to eat at Colton's Steak House. We had fried pickles and potatoes halves for an appetizers. I had the grilled chicken breast and side salad, the others had shrimp skewers and chicken fried steak, both were delicious as well. Our waitress was the best!!

I would give this place no stars if it was possible but I cant so I give it a 1. Have been here an hour and still waiting on our drinks. Appetizers were so gross. Said we were getting fresh chips and they came out so stale and full of oil. Ordered a cocktail the first one was good. Second one was made completely different but was supposed to be the same as the first but both tasted good. First time here and the last time here. Two tables that got here after us got their food before us. My chicken was dry. My mashed potatoes cold. The manager said that he will take the appetizers off for us for the whole thing. There were 5 people standing around doing nothing pretty much the whole time. I understand COVID-19 changed some stuff and people are understaffed but this was terrible. There were only 4 other tables here other then my family. So disappointed

Have eaten here several times. The last time we were put on a wait list due to them being short-staffed on a Saturday night. We left and ate somewhere else. I like the place, but my steak was a little tough the time before. Very flavorful though. I will go back.

My husband and I went there after a movie to have a nice meal before we headed back to Joplin, needless to say it was a bad choice. The hostess was not friendly to anyone that came in....told everyone that it was a 30 min wait, people that was there before us were leaving and others coming in weren't staying. As I went to the ladies room I noticed lots of empty tables and one whole section that had no one in it. when we were finally seated it took awhile to get drinks. we ordered our food but was never brought out any hot rolls till we asked for them, and they tasted really weird. We got our food finally, our nachos were cold like that had sat on the window for quite some time, the cheese was so hard you couldn't lift a chip. We also ordered the catfish and fries that was the only thing that was good about the whole experience! we sat and listened to other tables around us....every table had issues not just us! We travel alot and eat out alot, we have never ever had such a bad experience or bad food and wait staff! We always give the benefit of the doubt of a bad day however this time we will have to say it was poor management and lack of training. They definitely need to sit back and read all the reviews and take to heart what is being posted or they will loose even more business than they already have! I'm very disappointed in such a big chain letting a location being ran the way it is!! Maybe undercover boss needs to pay a visit to this location and get to the core of their problem or just shut it down! We saw the manager come to a table for a complaint, he should have been at the helm making sure the moment people entered the door they had a good experience. With all this being said we will definitely not be giving this location a second chance. Our time is just as valuable as anyone's and we don't appreciate waiting for bad food and bad service!
