Unlimited cantina thin chips and salsa, El Caballo de Oro is a great place to drop in for a quick bite. The queso makes the whole family happy.Flavor was significantly lacking from a signature dish. Steak was more like jerky. Quesadillas was awesome - brought it up from a 3 star review. The seats were worn, but the staff kind and attentive. We'll be dropping back in.
Always a safe bet you will enjoy your meal here! My favorite is the street tacos and I always mix it up with steak and pork. Super good! Corn shells are the best. Cheese dip is a bit runny but still really tasty! Recommend the margaritas, large tap beers, fajitas and crispy tacos as well.

Since I wrote my first review in 2013, the restaurant is now in a new and larger location. I don't especially like the interior/exterior, but the food is excellent. I highly recommend the Pollo Tapatio, which I get every time we are there. Service is usually spot on, especially when the owner is there.
