Second time getting food here and absolutely the last! The restaurant is filthy to start and the food is awful. Ordered online and was told it would be ready in 30 min, arrived 30 min later only to wait another 40 for the food. The ch I own tasted like it had been soaked in dish cleaner. Dumplings were over fried that we nearly broke a tooth with how hard they were. The food had zero flavor

Great service, food was delicious. I had the sweet and sour pork with rice. The Pork was battered and fried to perfection. My only complaint was that I was not able to try the entire menu! I will definitely be stopping by here again when in the area.

This is one of my favorite gems in town! It tastes amazing and Happy ALWAYS nails each dish. Couldn’t recommend the Hunan Chicken (pictured) and Dry Chicken any higher . Soooo good. Highly recommend!

I started going to Happy Family my freshman year of college and it has been my favorite spot since. Every time you go in Hank and his wife make you feel welcome. The food is always fresh and servings are perfect! This was the place I went right before my graduation ceremony as my final meal as a Pittsburg state student. I was able to come back after moving halfway across the country and Hank remembered me and was excited to talk. My girlfriend and I talk about this place all the time and there is no better place than Happy Family! Everything we have tried has been awesome but recommend the fried dumplings and spicy beef lo mein.

I drive all the way from Joplin to Pittsburgh for this food (PHO) cooked authentically by Mr. Hank and his wonderful wife and I shall add every dish is cooked as ordered not put together but all ingredients prepped and cooked fresh as you order them people I tell u no I urge u to try this piece of heaven and I promise u will have a happy family when u dine at Happy Family
