“A fun spot to check out if your kiddo is asking/demanding/breaking down over not having a sno-cone. How did we end up here? Well, we visited the Ethnic Enrichment Festival apparently at the same time as every single other Kansas Citian, which meant massive sun baked lines that no one had the patience for. To top it off, our daughter saw all these delicious sno-cones people were enjoying as we headed for an early exit. So Yelp came in handy as we found this spot over at 85th and Wornall, somewhat hidden in the strip center. The staff was pretty slammed but was friendly and did a good job getting everyone taken care of. To be honest, sno cones aren't my main thing, but I liked the Pina Colada one with coconut cream and most importantly, my daughter liked hers as well. They also don't skimp on the flavors/syrups, and have a handy ice catcher rim around the cups. Appreciate this spot for coming in clutch for us and turning a tantrum around!“
“Such a fun little ice cream shop! Lots of flavors to choose from and different styles - sundaes, milkshakes, root beer floats & more! The ice cream is made with butterfat and is rich and flavorful. Prices are comparable with other places including chains, but here you’re getting much better quality and friendlier service. Our sweet pup was allowed to accompany us inside and she got a whipped cream pup cup! They also sell lots of old fashioned candy and seasonal goodies. We will definitely be back!“
“The food was delicious, warm, and the wait time was 2-3 minutes. -granted we did visit at 7:39 PM with the building having few customers - The fries were crisp but appropriately salty and the burger juicy with the buns not soggy. This was definitely one of the better Freddy's I've seen as well as being relatively cleaner. The service was amazing and kind with the ambiance sealing the deal. The restaurant looked the part with the atmosphere being friendly and not tense - Although the track lighting was a little too bright- No complaints about the ambiance. The Ice cream (particularly the Chocolate Brownie Delight Sundae) was surprisingly not melted as seen in other buildings and the fudge was not soupy. Easy 5 Star experience and would come here again, definitely a worth-the-money quality place. Review made on 11/6/2023“
“Nice place my Cousin came with her kids and her newborn son. Amazing place overall and let me tell you this, when I first had it it tasted shockingly similar to my father's Homemade Hamburgs so Amazing Experience all around still tastes really good too!Parking: I'm not sure if there's Disabled people parking but knowing today's world there probably is.Kid-friendliness: Not at all unkid-friendly“
“My son and I went in for milkshakes mid afternoon. It was not very busy and we were waited on quickly. The milkshakes were perfectly delicious.Parking: Large lot with easy accessKid-friendliness: Children were with families and there are children’s options on their menu“
“Had the pork street taco and shredded beef empanadas. Had the street taco before, great flavor on the pork, good pairing of the vegetables. First time on the empanadas and was not disappointed! Good flaky yet chewy crust on the shell, delicious meet and cheese filling, and the lettuce/ tomato/ cheese on top was fresh and a good compliment to the empanada. Very filing portions, and amazing prices for what you're getting.“
