2 days ago I decided to lower my guard and pay $9 for loaf of sliced challah bread. What a mistake! I failed to taste a sample before buying. Got it home to make a sandwich. It had no taste. They forgot eggs, the forgot suger. Forgot honey. AWFUL!! Today I was nearby the place and tracked down the heavy set manager and told her how I felt about the challah bread. Response was thanks have a nice day. P.O.S. So hard to find the good challah here in KC.

Used to go here all the time before it moved from 95th and Nall. I was greeted by a very nice young lady who was very excited about telling me about their bread. I picked a couple of nice selections and brought them home for the start of a continued supply of tasty bread selections. The great in the name is not wrong!

I drove to the Great Harvest Bread Company last Thursday afternoon to eat a new Reuben Sandwich from the Company and I really enjoyed it!My mom was visiting my sister, Jessica, and she was able to join me for lunch that afternoon for lunch and she also enjoyed her Reuben Sandwich, too!As is the case with most of the other companies that I've reviewed in the past several months, I didn't take any photos of this Store when I was there for lunch with my mom. It your interested in going to the Great Harvest Bread Company in the future, I'd recommend that everyone try it out soon. (This Store is located in Prairie Village, KS for more than 5-6 years now.

I love the food especially their breads! I frequently run in for an Iced tea or a latte and the staff is always so friendly! Oh, and the cookies are so yummy too! If you haven’t stopped by you should!

I really enjoyed my first visit here. They have a very nice selection of freshly baked breads and it smells amazing when you open the door. Be sure to try a cookie for dessert--or share with three of your friends because they're huge!!
