Great place to bring your family. The restaurant is loud and boisterous, so kids can get out of their chair but still stay near the family.Margaritas are lackluster, like drinking from a bottle of margaritas mix without tequila.Food is OK.The beef & fish tacos are good,Guacamole is, too!

I have not been here in a long time and I was sad to see the salty iguana o used to know and love is gone. This used to be a fantastic place to get a quick, inexpensive, and good meal. Going now it seems they are trying to rebrand as a higher end Mexican restaurant that is more upscale, but the food is now just okay but the prices have skyrocketed imo. If you used to love this place but haven't been in awhile don't come back and keep those fond memories.

The food was excellent, especially the chicken flauta and chips with Iguana dip. Our server was Antone and he was unbelievable. Didn’t write anything down but all 5 of our orders were correct. He came back to check on us multiple times and even provided plates for our birthday cupcakes without us asking. Will definitely go back.

PV Burrito too salty. Both spicy salsa and regular salsa no flavor. It lacked garlic, onion, cilantro, lime… I have had better food out of a food truck for less money. It was very average.

It's probably been 4 years since I've been to a Salty Iguana. I got my usual entre choice -- the Prairie Village Burrito. This was my first visit to the Prairie Village location. We got there right at 6pm (end of Happy Hour), but the server rushed our drink order in so we would still qualify....a nice gesture on her part. Our margarita's were on par, nothing super special, but very good. We ordered Iguana dip with our chips and salsa, but the cheese dip was barely warm. My burrito was very good but my girlfriend was slightly disappointed in her Spinach Enchilada (added chicken) and Tinga Taco...taco was too plain. Based on my history of Salty Iguana, I would normally give 4-5 stars every time, but based on this outing, it was more of a 3.5 star dinner.... I still would give it another go....but there are so many great Mex food Restaurants available, it may be a while....
