Stopped by the Taco Republic in Prairie Village (Corinth Sqaure) shopping center after the gym tonight for the very first time! Our party of (3) each ordered something different and all three were surprised and delighted by the taste and the ambiance of this place! Our waitress; Marisol didn’t miss a beat and supplied us with endless ice tea and chips and salsa with our dinner tonight ! 5 stars from all of us !!

Fish tacos had too much onions some white sauce eventually made me sick threw up 3 times that night fish didn't taste fully cooked do not recommend totally gross body in pain from throwing up so much had to leave work early felt so sick and in pain omg ? never happened to me

We ate here on a Thursday night. I read the other reviews first but we wanted to give it a try since we had a gift card. It didn't seem too busy as there were many open tables, several of which needed to be cleaned. The employees were all working at capacity and trying their best, but you could tell they were clearly short-staffed. We weren't in a hurry so we were trying to be patient with the service. While we were waiting for our food, I noticed a few other groups of people who came in and waited awhile to be sat because the staff just couldn't get to them. The (bus boy?) brought us chips right away, which was nice. It took maybe 10 minutes to get drinks. We ordered queso, which came out lukewarm. It tasted okay but the consistency was weird since it was mostly cooled off. I ordered the S&P Chicken Tacos and the Shrimp Tacos, which both tasted pretty awful. The chicken tasted watery and the shrimp tasted like it had been microwaved, so I didn't eat them. My partner had the steak tacos and the meat had a strange seasoning. The booths and light fixtures were cute for the ambiance, but the whole place smelled like cleaning products and a deep-fryer, the kind of smell you leave with on your clothes. The staff was friendly so we didn't fault them with the negative experience but we wouldn't go back.***Reply to the business response**I did not ask for a different meal. The wait staff was busy and I was ready to leave. I also didn't feel like trying anything else on the menu after not liking 3/3 of the tacos or the queso.

Such a cute place. They have great happy hour specials every day of the week and other specials on top of that as well. Indoor and outdoor seating is great. The food is hot and very yummy!! I would absolutely come back to this place or recommend it to a friend! Loved it!

First experience here and it was amazing. Great hospitality and service. Food was killer and helped us with our drinks and chips as soon as we ran out. Smothered burrito was bomb with a twist of enchilada sauce. DELISHHHParking: Parking is all around the building perfect.

Only giving three stars because our server, Matt, was a sweetheart and utterly helpless to change our experience, definitely a management issue and I felt terrible for him. We didn't complain, and we tipped him well. Starting, we couldn't get anything to drink besides lemonade.. other than maybe alcohol, however we were on work break so that wasnt an option. Food was subpar, definitely not worth the price for the toddler portions served. Seriously serving beans and rice in ramicans?

This specific taco republic is weird. Hours said they were open but the drive they was closed and no one noticed when I walked in and attempted to place a to go order. The other location by Oklahoma Joe's is great so I'm assuming that it's a location issue I'm having.
Nice small restaurant with great food and drinks. The tacos are amazing, and the staff is friendly and attentive. They do close a little early at 9pm.Kid-friendliness: Nice family atmosphere.

Love the street tacos, but don't order the fajitas. The onions and (occasional) green pepper were overcooked and growing in liquid smoke. Also - served with flaccid corn tortillas. Blech.

If you are a woman going to this place, do not go alone and sit at the bar. The bartender made a family member of mine feel deeply uncomfortable and was making unwanted advances towards her. Even saying “sexual harassment and a free drink, what a good night”. Absolutely disgusting.

Just went for early dinner. Very disappointed. All food was room temperature meat was tough. Even cheese dip was room temp. What a waste of money. Waters we're all in corner hanging out. Never again!!!!!
