Absolutely amazing place- if you love whiskey you won’t be disappointed in the options. The food was perfectly cooked and flavorful with big portions! We loved everything we had and will be back!

Food tasted fabulous but the entree portion sizes were quite small. I ordered the salmon and it was half the size of what is served at the Bristol or Eddie V's. I don't feel the meal was worth the price they charge. Service was so-so. The waitress approached our table 3 times to order drinks before the entire party arrived. we told her we would wait but she kept coming back. Felt a bit rushed. I love the atmosphere and patio seating. Will be back but probably not as a regular due to the inflated price for small portions.

The food is great! They change the drinks, and mocktails are delicious! Great for a lite bite or full meal. The only thing I would change is that they currently only have 1 vegetarian meal. It'd be nice to have 2 or 3 to pick from. But there are several salads and appetizers that work.

The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. The ambience was just perfect. Updated and modern yet welcoming. We were celebrating my fiancés 28th birthday with family and this was the perfect spot for this occasion!Each plate/course was well thought out and executed to perfection. The star for me was the beef tartare - it being my first time having this dish, I was so thoroughly impressed. The other in our party were so hesitant to try prior to the deliveries plate to the table but once they saw it, they had no hesitation in trying or regrets! I also need to mention the fried apple pie with ice cream which was just melt in your mouth! ?Lastly, I need to mention our waiter Matthew L. Who was beyond kind, attentive and knowledgeable. You can tell when someone takes pride in the place they work, and he was just so passionate, it made the experience that much better.

Our first experience at Verbena was amazing! We didn’t have reservations (our fault) so we sat at the bar, which was a great experience. The bartender made outstanding cocktails and handled our needs mixed with the bar needs like a pro. The food was amazing. Between us- we shared the bang bang shrimp, oysters, the pork, miso salmon and 2 salads. It was all fabulous with great flavor and perfect temperature. I have to eat a GF diet, which brings different levels of complications to ordering at restaurants, but our bartender really knew how the ins and outs of the menu and didn’t make me feel like a pain while ordering! Tons of options for food. The menu and cocktails are on the pricier side, but absolutely worth every bit money spent. Value 100%. The atmosphere was moody and dim with beautiful decor.We will absolutely be back!

Went for Valentines dinner, four course meal. Very creative menu, especially the oysters with a little eye dropper fill with a dressing for the oysters. I had the duck, and guess I'm not a fan of duck breast...just okay to me. They bought the tiramisu..it was rock hard! Offered another dessert...but declined. I thought meal was a little pricey for what you got. They did bring me a glass of champagne...well, about 1/2 of a cup.... Okay...couldn't they have been a bit more generous?

Dinner and drinks were outstanding! We had the Whisky Business and the Smokey Old Fashioned and they were both expertly made - unique, well balanced, and delicious. Appetizers and dinner were outstanding. The combination of flavors and textures were excellent. I am usually suspicious of seafood this far from the coast but it was excellent. The chef knows what his is doing. Our server Kirk was very knowledgeable and kind and the staff supporting him kept dinner moving at an efficient but relaxed pace. I highly recommend this restaurant for an adult evening out or business dinner.

Great food, great location. They seem to always sit us next to the bar, which is lively, to say the least. I spent half the meal with some guy's butt in my face. Oh well, that's my bad for not requesting something further away.

Verbena is a favorite! Cool vibe, great wait staff and bar tenders. Fabulous seasonal cocktails and a killer wine list. The food is always so delicious. We had the best oysters as an appetizer this time. 100% recommend this place!

Verbena remains my current favorite place to dine, this time for a business lunch. The environment is perfect for conversation and the food always is exceptional. I had the Beef Tartare and the approach they take to this is excellent, the flash fried egg is a treat.
