I've been ordering here since I moved to Roeland Park about 3 years ogo. Always consistent, fresh and what you'd expect from American style Chinese food. The owners and workers are always friendly too! Also, keep in mind this a small spot and only usually one person delivers, they can get quite busy especially on the weekends and holidays, So order early on the weekends or on holidays and you'll avoid frustration.

China Star has been my only place for Chinese Cuisine for 17 years. Whether I pick up my order or choose delivery this family has ALWAYS been reliable with great healthy food, and amazing customer service. Today we had a mishap because I ordered from the "beyond menu website" they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.Within 17 years of being a customer I can tell you: I have not EVER had a problem I speak TRUTH. This family and company are the definition of "Great friendly service with a smile" ☺️I will suggest to order directly from their ChinaStarKc website from now on as it is their restaurant website and not serviced by a 3rd party... To my knowledge ?Vegetarian options: I always get their veggie fried rice with extra onions x2 and extra zucchini x2 Whenever I want something delicious and healthy ?

We just had the most amazing take out meal from China Star… our family tradition has always been Chinese food on Christmas Eve and we have always struggled with places being too packed and food being cold and lack of quality when I brought it home.. this year, China Star nailed it!
