My Subaru had an axle explode on the highway by Russell, so we were forced to spend the night there. Tried this place as it was one of the only Mexican restaurants in the area. I had the camarones a la diabla, and it was probably the best and spiciest I've ever had. I was literally sweating while eating them. My GF had a big combo platter, and as someone who usually doesn't finish her food, she almost cleaned her plate. They were pretty busy as it was a Saturday evening. 10/10...read full review
We ate late afternoon on a Tuesday, so we were almost alone in the restaurant. My expectations were met. The margarita was excellent, the food was excellent, and the portions were large! I will definitely go back if staying in Russell.

Stopped here for a quick bite on a long road trip along I70. It is located about 8 minutes from the highway in a small town. Food came out quick and super hot. It was delicious and relatively well priced! Salsa and chips were provided upon seating. I had the pollo bandido and was very satisfied with the portion size.
