Food was good, definitely a greasy spoon, but well within expectations. Friendly and prompt service. Decor and building are dated, which reflects in the atmosphere. Overall very good!
The food was very greasy. My husband ordered the chicken dinner (which was their Thursday special) had feathers on it and his toast tasted like industrial grease……disgusting. I had ordered over easy eggs and they were sunny side up, asked for crispy bacon and got limp. I also ordered not crispy hash browns and they were very crispy. Would you e come in again…prolly not. We had to wait forever for our waitress to come and check how we were doing.

Waiting to be seated on a Sunday morning. 3-17-24. We were told because of the size of our party, 7, it would be just 15 min. They had just started an 11 top. They “didn’t want to overwhelm the kitchen”. While we waited , they seated, at least 15-20 people. I understand the smaller tables, but if you don’t want to overwhelm the kitchen, they could’ve just sat the seven of us and go from there. Do better!

Probably a fluke but as we waited to be seated the waitress was on her phone and even after she made eye contact with us she didn't say anything. Not even a "be right with you" it was the large blonde lady so maybe the other servers are better. We walked out and we won't be back.
Super friendly waitresses, very good food and huge portions!! Would definitely recommend. Typical diner atmosphere but that’s what makes it good.

The food was not as good as I remember it being had open faced roast beef and it was just blah chicken fried steak was also blah must have new employees and I understand as I also run a restaurant. Staff was extremely friendly and my order was to go and had everything correct. I will continue eating here and hope the blah gets betterThe owner is amazing as is his staff
