We went to Oishi to celebrate Valentine's Day. We ordered food at 6:40 pm & still had not received it at 8:00 (we did receive the single piece of sushi we ordered for an appetizer). We were told several times that the to-go orders were delaying our order. We told the wait staff we needed to leave to get home to our kids & they brought us a bill for the $6 appetizer we had eaten. Such a disappointment to spend $$ on a babysitter & be ready to spend money at a restaurant- only to have to-go orders be a higher priority than customers in the restaurant.

If I could give 4.5 stars I would. The lunch deals for sushi are some of the best value I've seen in a long time. You can get 3 sushi rolls, 1 crab rangoon and soup for $14. The rolls are really good and plentiful in portions. The service is fast and friendly. We got the Godzilla, Magic, and LA roll. La was our favorite then the magic roll then Godzilla but they were all so good and different. I'd get those three again next time. I ordered the hibachi shrimp meal and it was good for the value but not the best food I've ever had or anything. Next time I would get the sushi or try the teriyaki lunch special. We will definitely be back here when we are craving some sushi!

Sushi is great everytime & great price too! I typically don't like eating at restaurant due to cleanliness, lack of service or loud atmosphere - but I will eat in at Oishi! It's great. Plenty of seating. Good lightning, low noise level. Highly recommend.
We had tiger roll, sweet potato tempura, and forgot other roll name. So good!!! Service was excellent and friendly. Clean and quiet atmosphere.

Server was amazing and on top it, we came in a large group and she served well. However what came to the table was highly disappointing and just disgusting. The Godzilla was mushy and fishy, the tempura chicken looks like it’s made with panko and the fried rice is just plain boring rice. Everything lacked color and was just blah. I would agree with other reviewers that people who eat here do not know what good quality sushi is and I don’t understand how this place would get 5 stars. Very meh food for their prices. I would not eat here again.
