I bought some strawberries with cream and they came with very little cream! Very poorly prepared. ??

The place was not clean. It was a basic experience. Didn’t have a welcoming environment . The owners were discussing other peoples business in front of us. (paying customer). The strawberries and cream were overpriced. It was a small cup about 16oz and for $8. I also did order chicharonnes; it was stale.

Really delicious, fresh and lots of great options! Ice cream is really good and homemade and of course they have all the great smoothies and fruit options too!

Place was small and simple. Not much variety in the ice cream section. I got bubble gum and cheesecake flavor. The bubble gum one had a very sour aftertaste and the cheesecake one was alright, I’ve had better. The lady who worked there was very nice though.

Service sucks!!! Owner Seems to not care about his customers. I asked him if he could give me a few secs to decide what I wanted to order and he just said that he was ready to close. They don’t even respect their own hours at the door. I will never never never come back.

Service sucks... elote mediocre at best. Old man that works there acts like he doesnt want your business. 1st and last time.

Good food. Nice staff. They slay that horchata. I asked for half fresa and half horchata. Delicious.
Your word is I.
I think all the people in the comments went to a different Tropicana than I did. The staff was helpful, very kind, and almost felt like i was speaking with family! Although they are in a somewhat hidden part of the plaza, it is delicious!
I love this place! I usually get the mangoneada (amazing if you’re a fan of mango and Tajin), but lots of other things are good there including the eschamocha and chocolate covered banana.

After finally trying this place out today, I can't believe the negative reviews I'm seeing. The staff were very friendly, and both items I tried were delicious. I had the tropical smoothie first. It was so refreshing and delicious, I think because they don't put too much sugar in it. I also had a scoop of ice cream. Had to try it because they are all homemade. Again, not as sweet as most ice cream that I'm used to. I really enjoyed it, and I will be going back for sure.

I think the reviews are being a bit harsh here, it’s a small shop and busy on the weekends. Nothing is sketchy about it and it’s not filthy like other reviews suggest. The owners clearly work very hard. Everything I’ve had is good but my favorite and clearly the star of the show is the mangoneada. Spicy, juicy, salty, fruity. Fairly priced. We need more local family owned places like this over corporate chains, please support them!

Between the 4 of us we got Carmel, pecan, cookie dough, and egg nog ice cream. We all loved what we got. So good! Mix ins were legit.I also got an elote. I am used to them on a stick. It is served here like a soupy type thing with canned corn. The flavor was good, the canned corn wasn't great.
