“For a small restaurant serving mostly Mexican fare, it was comfortable, clean, and we were very well cared for by the staff. I enjoyed the best chicken taco salad I have ever had!Parking: Parking is limited, both on street and beside the building, but it's a small town, so to be expected. We had no problem finding spots to park.”
“Love all the items on the menu! The owners are awesome and so flexible. The ambience is friendly and customers seem to always know each other. I've been going to ElRoy's for 15 years. My favorite is their Allen's Pizza.”
“Running the super slabs, it’s refreshing, if you’re a driver, to spend sometime on the local state 2 laners. However, there is one drawback, there is seldom a place to eat. We were lucky and just happened upon Joans Cafe. It was just what you would expect in the middle of nowhere. It was modest, well kept, very clean, and a wonderful wholesome waitress. The coffee was hot, the water was cold, the pancakes were fluffy, the eggs were perfectly over easy, the biscuits and gravy were to die for and the sausage and bacon were the perfect cappers. This stop started our day off perfectly.”
“If I could leave a 10-star review I would! ⭐️Wheatland Cafe and Catering was truly a joy to work with. We coordinated multiple events and they didn't miss a beat. We LOVED the food, and loved working with their team. All around amazing!”
“This is a classic roadside diner in a town that is just a spot in the road. The people are lovely as can be, the food is always good, and it's reasonably priced. Appreciate it for what it is. I've been going there for years to visit family. Take some time and chat someone up while you're there. You won't meet nicer people anywhere.”
