There is no way that TSCPL can possibly convince me that this thing is a good use of their money. A library's purpose is to lend books to the public. Considering that this place is trying to extort $80 out of me just to get a library card, the courtyard is a waste of money.How about this for an idea: Instead of using a ton of money on pointless renovations, why not use the money to allow the public to get library cards without charging them an arm and a leg?
