Human Chinese Restaurant is nestled in a strip mall & I have never even noticed it! I am glad that friends suggested it for a dinner out. It appears to be a family run business, and all staff were engaging. The interior of the restaurant could definitely use some sprucing up, but the menu is extensive and there is something for everyone at Hunan. The entrees that we ordered we very good, and sizes were generous. We had leftovers for several days. We will definitely return & enjoy the Chinese cuisine at Hunan!

I am always so impressed with this restaurant! I had the Lake Ting Tung Shrimp. Beautiful tender shrimp, broccoli and mushrooms in a delicate white egg white sauce. It was absolutely fabulous!! Beautiful, clean establishment with employees all masked. The staff are so amazing and helpful. We are so fortunate to have a restaurant of this caliber in Topeka! Love it!!

This place is one of the best restaurants in Topeka, so it is a given that it is the best place to get Chinese in Topeka as well. We have ordered delivery very often and that has always been something that works well, i.e. the food is hot and fresh and our order is always right. The wait with delivery can be long, but it is never something that bothers me because it's worth it. I do highly recommend going in person to the restaurant, because it is just a fun experience. It is very well kept and there is a Chinese lady, I'm assuming the owner, who is so cute and sweet. She always comes around and checks on everyone and she does a lot of the work in the restaurant as well. You can tell she is running a tight ship and that she has pride in her restaurant and her food. I don't know what "Eric W." was on when he wrote his review, but I can honestly say I would recommend this over most other Topeka restaurants. And no, I don't have any photos, because every time I go in there I'm enjoying myself and the food and having such a good time I don't even think to take them. ALSO-- the name is Hunam, not Hunan. I've tried to change it, hopefully it gets approved by Yelp.
