I’ve done take out from Jong’s many times in the past. Tonight was my first time dining in. It’s truly a dining experience unrivaled in Topeka. The food was excellent, the staff friendly, and the experience was a bit of a mix of standard dinner service and a chefs table.

Jong’s never fails to make excellent Thai food and their staff couldn’t be nicer. More than once have I gotten a pickup order that has an additional item, free of charge, with a nice message written on it. The owner is beyond friendly and this will forever be my go-to Thai restaurant.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! The owners are so kind. We placed an order around 7:15 P.M, so 45 minutes before close. We were informed that it may not be ready until 8:30 P.M., and still let us order from them. It was done way earlier, and they gave us a call when they started on the order so it would not be waiting too long. Not only did they offer us a drink for the ride home after we showed up at 8:05, but they gave us a free appetizer for our wait which was shortened substantially! Every time I have ordered from them, the owners and staff are so kind and accommodating. Even without a wait, they treat us with amazing respect and service, always going above and beyond. Best Thai restaurant in Topeka, if not the best restaurant just based on the environment, the staff and service, and the quality of their food!

Jong's is always a 5-star experience! The food and hospitality are simply outstanding. It is one of our favorite quiet spots in Topeka. Whether we are on a date night, enjoying a celebration, or a meal with a friend or client, Jong's never fails to deliver an amazing experience. The minute you walk inside it feels like you're being seated in the dining room of a dear friend's home while they work their magic creating authentic Thai food that is made with the freshest ingredients. Tonight our order started with the green bean appetizer, NO words can describe how spectacular this dish is. I could eat it every day for at least a year. Some dishes are served family style, so we shared the Papaya Salad. Always fresh and bursting with flavor. The orange chicken is prepared to perfection with your choice of heat levels. We like mild+ and medium heat. The size of their generous portions often means there will be delicious leftovers for lunch the next day. We often get the Garlic Chicken and it is just as tasty. If there is any room for dessert, the mango sticky rice is a must. Everything at Jong's is made with love and care, served fresh, and delivered to your table with a friendly smile. I can't say enough positive things about Jong's and the lovely people that make it so special. It is a very special GEM located in central Topeka. Call ahead for reservations. We typically book our next reservation before we leave. They also have the option of carryout.

The service and food were both absolutely incredible. We ordered carry out and the man who took our order was so extremely nice and offered us free drinks while we waited. They had the order ready in no time, and even gave us a couple dumplings with a note saying thank you for waiting, which was so kind. The crab delight, dumplings, and pad Thai were all the best I’ve ever had, such amazing flavor. It’s hard to find service & food like this in Topeka, we were so impressed with them. Will definitely be back! Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time if you’re wanting to dine in, but the food quality is just as good with carry out unlike some places. Can not say enough about this place!
