Placed an order online. Said it would be ready in 15 min. When I arrived to get my order, I was told it wasn't ready. There were 2 people working. 1 slowly making sandwiches and the other washing dishes. When asked if the other person could come help make sandwiches I was told no because they had to wash the dishes now or they wouldn't get out on time and he had school the next day. It was 8:15 and they close at 10. Another customer inquired about the other person coming to help and was told the same. When asked for a manager I was told they don't work evenings. Eventually the other person came up to help. After all the wait, they didn't have the meat for the Cold cut! I asked to return the order. They said on the app but they couldn't help me. They were are to return on their register but not sure when it would go through. What a waste of everyone's time, money, and energy!!!

This Subway continues to go downhill. Unfortunately it's the closest one to our house, which is the only reason we keep trying to eat it. When they're not out of toppings or bread (yes, they actually ran out of bread) then their service is ridiculous. We actually had to return our sandwiches to the store tonight because there was so much mayonnaise on two of the sandwiches they were not edible. The top half of the other sandwich somehow got ripped in half and totally fell apart when we opened it. Oh, and speaking of bread, one of the sandwiches was like eating a crouton. Not fresh at all. On top of all this, the two guys working were incompetent. I ordered a #23 and had to tell the guy what toppings were supposed to be on it per the menu. I then asked them what the MVP vinaigrette was or what was in it and neither of them had any idea. This location is totally unacceptable and I won't spend another dime there.

Hardly put put anything on my sandwiches told me I couldn't have no footlong pretzels or cookies or churros because the people before their shift didn't thaw them out and when I asked for extra sauce on one of my sandwiches he ran out and The jug and said that they didn't have no more instead of going to the back and getting a new one and it took him 5 minutes just to cut two sandwiches tell him about 30 minutes to make my food he was rude and I do not appreciate this Subway staff on 03/07/2024 dinner crew

Tried to order Subway Club but they were out of ham which effects alot of sandwiches. Told they had to charge extra if want some other meat in place of ham. No discount for them being out of ham. Hmmm! Left what a shame as first trip in after re-ooening of this location.

The place was a mess. The glass to see the condiments was so dirty. The tables were dirty. There was a jalapeno hanging out by the register. The knives were covered in food particles. There was lettuces in the make table and the guy helping me was rude. I hope I don't get food poisoning. I'll be driving way over to Topeka Blvd from now on if I want a sandwich.Get it together Se. Let me start this off with I have been working in foodservice for over 10years now, and primarily in sandwich shops throughout Kansas.Food was great, but the two ladies on the line (one with rainbow hair, the other blonde or brown) were disrespectful, rude, and condescending towards me, and were openly sharing parts of their life that were inappropriate for the workplace. And a worker "Dakota" was summoned by the shorter heavier woman and she lectured him and belittling in front of everyone. (Super inappropriate for the workplace) There was a group of two people in front of me that got 3 sandwiches, and when I came into the store wasn't acknowledged whatsoever upon entering. And I leaned on the counter/bar for about 15-20min before the shorter brown or blonde haired woman said " hey, hey guy! get off there guy, you're not supposed to be up there guy!" So I get off the counter and walk over and she's being belittling and rude. Takes my order does it slower than heck. I had to repeat what I wanted on my sandwiches multiple times ( I have a very loud voice and there should've been no misunderstanding In what I was saying)Then When the younger man with black hair, was ringing up my order he messed up a couple times, which I was understanding about, and he was apologetic about all of it, and then rainbow hair stepped in a was being a (excuse my language) raging bitch, cause he rang me up wrong and I was trying to make light of the situation and laugh it off and pop a joke, and she just continued to act with the same rudeness as she did before and gave me some bitchy response, so then I said "I was just joking" and she just gave me a snide scoff and glared at me.And then while he finished closing out my check he gave me like an I'm sorry, wtf was that look, And I have him the same look back like wtf just happened. Now the young man black hair, did a fantastic job, didn't have to repeat myself was super nice. And yes he made a couple of mistakes but he was being super helpful and nice. Great customer service, and ended up tipping him my $4-$5 of change. If it were my business I would not want either of those two representing my company.

Most likely will not go back to subway in town. The two kids taking my order were extremely rude, from throwing my sandwich on the table to refusing to give me the number to corporate.I had to go somewhere else due to the disrespectful attitude from Ethan and Joshua. Sad because I really like subway but not worth the hassle anymore.

I waited in line for a long time as well as three other people in front of me. There was only one gentlemen working. He didn't seem friendly. He took the first guys order, done. He took the second guys order who by they way couldn't hear very well but ordered a tuna sandwich with extra tuna. They employee seemed annoyed that he had to repeat himself but in the end the guy did tip $2 and the employee did not even appear grateful. On the the third person in front of me whom as a lady. She ordered her sandwich and then a another employee - a young lady comes from the back to finish her up. When it's my turn to order I said what I'd like which was just a turkey on white with American cheese, no other condiments. He proceeds to go ahead and wrap up my sandwich and so I walk over to the register and he proceeds to tell me in a very negative tone that I have to wait my turn to pay. I said ok but this lady is still building her sandwich and he says it's our policy that you have to wait your turn. The lady was super nice and she said no I'm still building my sandwich and you can go ahead and ring her up. He says well I will because you said it was ok. I was stunned but gave him my money and instead of him handing me my sandwich and saying have a nice day....he throws it on the counter to me. OK, if you are having a bad day or you really don't want to be at work please don't take that frustration our on customers. Without customers you would not have a job of "your" choice to come to work at. I can tolerate a bad attitude because we all have them from time to time but to throw my sandwich at me was very unprofessional. This is the reason for my review whether something be done about his behavior or not. You don't treat customers this way - period! I didn't eat that sandwich that I paid for but instead I went to another Subway location and shared my experience and the worker advised that they get a lot of complaints from the 29th & California location and she apologized for how I was treated and graciously made me a new sandwich. I told her that I get it but to be flat out rude and throw my sandwich to me instead of handling it to me is not cool at all. Plus there are professional athletes that are out here promoting Subway! I wonder if he would thru a sandwich at Steph Currey, or Jayson Tatum? With the way things are in this world and people not caring anymore he probably wouldn't even care or anything. It's a sad world we are living in. Let me make one thing clear I will never go back to the Subway on 29th & California in Topeka, KS. Thanks
