Not a lot of fast food options in this small town but Sonic rarely messes up your order—even special orders, unlike that burger place with the big gold M. Service is usually pretty quick even when it's busy, good variety on the menu; food is decent when you stick to the basics. I haven't really cared for any of their "designer" test specialty burgers.Plus, it's THE place for frozen treats on a hot summer day. It's next to a HS and sometimes the teens are annoying so just remember, you were an annoying teen once yourself.

I was very unhappy with my order, when going to the sonic in wamego ks. (I have been to alot of sonic's) I ordered two med. Classic shakes. One was strawberry there were know strawberries in it , it was very very light pink, Had a slight taste of strawberry, cup was maybe 3/4 of the way full. The second one way advertised as being a real banana shake, very light yellow with know banana's. Slight taste of banana, also 3/4. of the way full. I was not happy with my order. So I order my food right..... made sure I was specific. I DIDN'T EVEN GET ALL OF IT! I DROPPED ALMOST 70 DOLLARS CASH AND YOU CANT GIVE ME ALL MY FOOD! STAFF WAS FRIENDLY BUT APPARENTLY IM FEEDING EVERYONE! I'm so mad I can't even..... grrrrrr!

No one in town likes this place. Thier food sucks. They never cook it completely. They have turn over like there’s no tomorrow. I asked to speak to a manager after the guy said he was “learning” after I told him multiple times what I wanted clearly and he couldn’t comprehend (that should tell you how they can’t keep people) and he refused service trying to tell me how he “was” the manager. This place should honestly be shut down. This is why they made a sonic out on the highway even though there is one in town. Everyone will drive to the other just so they don’t have to go to this cockroach infested place.

Ordered a Reece’s Sonic Blast with an emphasis on how much I wanted extra in it. They double charged me for the extra toppings, which was fine until I saw how little they gave. Next time, please be willing to charge me for the 10 scoops I requested and provide the extra.
I went there on Sept 7. First my speaker wasn't working I moved to a different one. I pushed the red button and no one answered. I then looked up their phone number. Lady said the were too busy to take my order. I asked her how long a wait I would have until I could order. She said she didn't know and I could go somewhere else. I am so mad. They need to close this sonic and start over.

This restaurant is trash. Place a doordash order, they acknowledge the order, take my money, and then never deliver the food and the restaurant closes. This is the second time this has happened at this location, done with it.

We have tried to order 3 different times and we have waited over 10 minutes for our order to be taken and have never been waited on. Only 1 car there last time.

They took so long to even come out and take our order and then we didn't get our good for another 10 minutes. We saw them all huddled in a group talking and laughing. Do anything but working. Very poor management.

We waited to get our food after already ordering ahead of time online. Yet they got the order wrong. No bacon on a burger that was supposed to have bacon. No big deal until pressing the button and waiting with it on for FIVE minutes before someone actually responded to it. Then during me saying what we needed fixed there's this long drawn out pause for a full minute before the guy remembers he's on intercom supposed to be helping. Not coming here again. Even the sonic off the highway does a better job. This place isnt even busy!!
