I would like to first start off by saying the food in the service was excellent. However the amount of small flies that were flying around our table and in the establishment was disgusting. This place definitely has a small fly, drain issu. If it wouldn't have been a corporate dinner and someone else having picked the location. This restaurant is in desperate need of a company to treat their small fly issue

Compliments to the Chef! The food was great. Best pork- chop I've ever had. The mustard sauce was perfect. The grilled Caesar was excellent. And the sauteed button mushrooms were delicious.

I have visited AVI several times now, and I particularly enjoy it. On my most recent occasion, Chenoa was our server and made the experience particularly enjoyable and friendly! She made recommendations for both appetizers and dessert which were extraordinary. I was a sucker for the grilled salmon, and the creme brûlée was absolutely delightful. The ambiance was very nice, the meals were well crafted (and delicious) and Chenoa displayed her understanding of good dishes and tell customers the particular ways that the restaurant really shines. It was a great experience, and I will definitely have many more. If you live downtown Wichita, there is no reason not to try it out, and if you don't live nearby, its definitely worth trying out.

Excellent restaurant overall, most certainly 4 stars and would have been 5 if it wasn't so loud. Our waitress was exceptional and food is top notch. If you have a large party in the banquet room downstairs, close the doors please. Everyone will appreciate it.
We had the Valentine's Day special menu. I had the shrimp cocktail, the grilled romaine salad, the lobster tails and the creme brûlée. What I liked about the menu, was the selection, as there were several choices for each course, and a complimentary sparkling wine. Seeing our selections and those being delivered to other tables, I don't think there was a wrong choice. Holding back on the fifth star, was the creme brûlée, which while very good, was slightly under-fired; and my husband's sirloin was rare, rather than medium. Our experiences at AVI have always been excellent service and delicious food. The wait staff is focused on providing a good experience, and they serve without hovering. Although we usually prefer a booth, we were seated at a table and it was nice. I like that they don't overcrowd the area by moving the tables too close. We enjoyed our meal and the occasion.

Very clean and welcoming atmosphere I’ve never been a fan of brussel sprouts but they were amazing along with the cheese fry. The only issue we had was we weren’t expecting the tomahawk ribeye to be so thick and had to send it back to get a bit more cooked. Staff were very friendly and professional and were moved with urgency. 10/10 would recommend to any friend or family
Been here several times. Mahi Mahi Sandwich was great. Brioche bun, nice level of seasoning. Side salad and nice mixed greens and small tomatoes.We ordered the cheese fries and they were nothing short of amazing. Two kinds of melted cheese, bacon, and some ranch to dip. MmmmmmmDecent prices for what you get too. Recommended.
