The chicken we got was delicious, and the white rice, but I was disappointed with the veggie fried rice. Very bland. More expensive than it's worth. Restaurant itself needs updating, very dingy. The host was nice but we waited 40 minutes for what they said would be 20 minutes. Would not go again.

Rice was old. General chicken tasted like ketchup. The restaurant itself smelled really musty. Certainly won’t be back

I'm always craving bai wei chicken! The best way to eat here is to dine in! You get free soup with dine in and the staff is so sweet! Best waitstaff in Wichita. I've never had a bad experience with them. And they're open super late on weekends, like after midnight which is almost unheard of in Wichita. 5 stars!!!

We ordered the sesame chicken, General Tso chicken, Crab Rangoon, and egg drop soup. Apparently they were out of eggrolls, how is Chinese restaurant out of eggrolls? First the inside was not very clean, smelled musty, and the windows needed cleaned. The General Tso chicken tasted like it was bathed in ketchup, no joke literally ketchup. The sesame chicken tasted like the same chicken, except with sesame seeds sprinkled on them. Rangoon had no Crab that I could find, just cream cheese. On the plus side they were hot.If you are looking for authentic, this is not the place. I would not order from here again. I thought we would try someplace different but regretted it. We threw it all in the trash, worst 50 bucks I've spent

I used to come here all the time (2010ish) and it was amazing back then. Wow how this place has fallen. I had been bragging to a buddy about this place and was honestly embarrassed afterwards. The place is dirty, decrepit and the food was clearly microwaved frozen food. A shadow of its former self. I'm surprised they are still open. Sad stuff.

Gets mad if you want to pay over the phone and you will not get everything that you order. Incompetent and can't seem to understand a word you say.

I work 3rd shift and eat her twice a week because they are open very late. The food is always good and consistently the same quality every single time for the past four years.

Honestly the only reason I give it four stars is because it pricey but it is good. My go to dish is sesame chicken fried rice or egg drop soup and it was all delicious just know it has a price and good portions but I wouldn’t say 13 dollars worth.

I'd heard good things about the food here and that they stay open late so we decided to give it a try. It wasn't hard to locate but the sign outside is barely lit up so you might keep your eyes open. We were greeted by a young man that answered any questions we had and made a couple of recommendations. We decided to share an order of fried rice and an order of crab Rangoon. The portion size was impressive and was more than enough for 2 people. The rice was hot and tasted alright. We took our order to go and noticed the food had a strong smell, although we still aren't sure why. The meat we ordered (pork) was extremely salty and the flavor was okay. There were certain parts of the rice that were a little mushy. I probably wouldn't order the fried rice again. The crab Rangoon was cooked nice and crisp but the filling was extremely bland and disappointing. We spent over $20 on one entree and the crab rangoon, IF we try again we'll try something different. Oh, they do have a dining area but it was completely empty. It was kind of late though, about 11pm on a Friday night. I most likely wouldn't recommend at this point but am willing to try one more time before I decide that for sure.

Five stars for both the crawfish (yum!) and the clams with fermented black bean sauce (double yum). (P.S.: Bai Wei doesn't look like much when you swing past it. Trust me when I tell you that you should stop in for a meal -- lackluster appearances aside.)

The food was pretty good. I got crab rangoons and fried rice which tasted great! The owner was super sweet and so kind!

In my younger years, I would eat here after a night clubbing. After many years of not visiting this restaurant, I decided to give it a try for nostalgia sake, but the 4 entrees I ordered were very disappointing. The lacking flavor and spices were my main complaint. Even the rice that came with the entrees were dried and seems very poor quality. Oh well, I gave it one last taste test.

One of the best late night eats around, hands down. Very high quality food and considerable portions.
