We tried Casa Mexicana and it was delicious. Hector was extremly nice as they were busy and there was only two of them. He offered us a free cheese dip. The food was amazing, for sure give them a try!

Casa Mexicana, on West Central next to Two Brothers BBQ...very tasty salsa with a nice kick, not too hot but definitely not mild either and these thick and sturdy chips that will fill you fast so be careful. The queso was both parent and kid approved, smooth but not too runny to stick to your chips and an awesome flavor. I'm usually not a fan of sit down Mexican restraunts Carne Asada tacos; drive thrus and trucks seem to reign supreme in that department but these were actually really good with thick tender slices of steak, cilantro(I don't like raw onion), sturdy tasty tortillas that held up and the hot sauce they served with it was the perfect ribbon to tie it all together ?

Did a spur of the moment carry out order when I saw a video of their pollo feliz special. It was ready extremely quickly, still hot, and overall excellent. I'm not a mushroom person, requested it without, and was happy there wasn't a mushroom in sight.Ordered husband the chile colorado, a particular favorite of his. Often this dish is lacking the depth of chile flavor at other places. As soon as I peeled back the lid, I knew that wasn't the case here just by the color. He devoured it and asked if he could go back for more tomorrow.Beans were well seasoned, pico & guac had the perfect amount of lime, cheese dip was smooth and 2 yr old couldn't get enough. Rice was a little on the bland side, but mixed well with our entree sauces.Salsa was very nice. Had some heft to it- not a watery mess nor just diced tomato. A tiny bit of heat. Very enjoyable, even for a capsacin wuss like me. Should've paid for extra because we fought over the included 4ish oz cup.Many places do one or two things well but first impression tells me these people understand flavor. Price point was better than most with a comparable menu. Will absolutely be back. Thanks for a great dinner!

My family tried this new restaurant for lunch yesterday and I must say, "It was FABULOUS!". The chips were warm, the salsa very flavorful and fresh with a perfect amount of heat. We all enjoyed various enchiladas and all agreed, "This new place is a gem. Some of the best Mexican food in our city!" Our server was a total delight and the space was clean and bright. And the three of us ate for $30.00 Let's help make this new business a success and frequent it often everyone!!
