we arrived in the late afternoon to avoid the morning crowd, everyone was crammed on one side of the restaurant, & we waited over 40 minutes for our food but it was terrible and cold, the place wasn’t even busy! we asked for a remake of pancakes and they came out even worse the 2nd time, i have not eaten here in years but they don’t have to worry about it anymore

I always enjoy eating here. This is a smaller family-friendly restaurant that’s not big and noisy. Everything I’ve eaten here has been good. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s one of my favorite places to eat in Wichita.

16.00 breakfast based off a review..... I WAS SUPER HUNGRY and the review said onlet & biscuits/gravy. Onlet was pretty small and disappointing. Plus they didn't include silverware... Like I said I was hungry so I sat in the parking lot using my fingers.... LoL it wasn't horrible but I'll not just read the first couple on any review now.

Had a New Year's Day dining experience while visiting family in Wichita and this is basically a cleaned up Dennys. The service is terrible but maybe just because I'm not Caucasian. I was skipped while going around the table ordering. When I finally did order, the kitchen was out of ingredients for what I wanted to get so had to improvise on the fly. Then, when the waitress brought our food, she spilled salsa on my pants and coat in the same motion of shoving a plate into my face and nearly hitting me, without offering a napkin or checking on me (of course). When she came back to check how our food came out, I was ignored while trying to raise the concern that my food was NOT good and thought it needed to go back. It tasted the way a dirty dish rag smells and I was concerned I would get food poisoning if I kept the plate. There were 8 wait staff members for 2 tables and I still had terrible service. When I finally flagged someone down my food was taken away without any words, then by the time the rest of my table finished eating they offered to remake my food (so I can get food poisoning? No thanks) TLDR: strip mall breakfast with bad service and expired produce.

We are new to the Wichita area and kept seeing Jimmy's Egg. We decided to give it a try. We were sorry we didn't check the Yelp reviews beforehand. A rating of 3.4 would have stopped us in our tracks. On a positive note, my daughter liked the hot chocolate and the side of hash browns. However, the negatives were many. The bacon was burnt to a crisp - absolutely black. The home fries in my skillet had a freezer burn taste. The waitress didn't ask how I wanted my eggs cooked on my skillet and I didn't think to say. I ended up with scrambled - yuck! The English Muffins had a weird crust like they were using cheese to toast them. Maybe it was mayo, but it tasted weird even when I tried to mask it with strawberry jelly. We will absolutely not return.

The food was average with small portions for pricing. The service was definitely subpar as there were dirty tables, folks waiting and rude servers. They ran one group of 5 off as the lady wouldn't let them sit in a booth or add chair to end of table. They acted like they were swamped yet there were 3 servers and they had 1/2 the place blocked off. Daughter ordered chocolate chip pancakes but the first batch came out as plain. Waited for the other ones awhile and refills were impossible to get. Definitely gone downhill from the days it first opened.

This is our favorite Jimmy's Egg location. Usually, it's all 5-star. Today, the eggs were not so great. We all ordered scrambling eggs. They were super dry and crumbly. Being a breakfast place, I expect egg perfection no matter how they are ordered.
