$9.22 for 2 bismarks. The new owners (of the last few years) have taken maximum advantage of inflation (of the last few years) to raise prices. For this reason, I'm out.

Not sure how present this situation. The quality of donut at LaMar’s is always very good and consistent. The reason for the poor review is due to the cost of their product. I bought a chocolate long john and an apple fritter and was charged just shy of $10 after tax. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! $5 per specialty donut is outrageous. I understand about inflation, but c’mon. I won’t be going back.
These might have been the worst donuts I have ever eaten in my entire life. And the hot chocolate was barely warmer than room temperature. $15 for 3 donuts and a hot chocolate is also absurd. But the staff was incredibly friendly and the shop was clean and well staffed. I’m going to assume that I went too late in the day (about 9 am on a Saturday). I’ll probably try it again earlier in the day. You would think with them being open until 3 pm the donuts would be fresh all day? I don’t know. I’m going to be optimistic and try again another time.

810 am and had no original glazed. How do you run out that early in the morning? I'm out of town and heard good things, but was disappointed. Staff was friendly.
Favorite donut shop. I dont think 3 dozen donuts should be almost $100 though.

This place is wildly overpriced, however... I've gotta hand it to them. The doughnuts are varied and delicious. The building itself is clean and well equipped to handle a pretty decent number of customers all at once. And the staff working here seemed genuinely concerned about your experience. I had a tough time tipping because the manager's assortment was over 30$ for a dozen doughnuts, but at the end of the day, everyone really enjoyed the food they received.

Too pricey. Sorry but over 2000% markup on $0.20 of ingredients using a low overhead operation like a donut shop in the Midwest...come on. I'm going to start knocking off stars for prices because it's clear the Google review ecosystem is hiding that metric, and it starts with a donut shop in Kansas - which by all logic should be anywhere from a cheap to affordable place to grab a treat. Paying nearly $5 for a single donut with no fancy ingredients is not economically sound for anyone.
