So good! I ordered delivery to try about a week ago and going to the restaurant itself today. I couldn't get enough of those buttery noodles! Everything was great, fresh and tasted homemade.

This place is located in Town East Mall, Wichita, KS. It's in the food court area. Anyways, this place has this yummy plate (chicken and beef) that my wife and I always when we are at the mall. I always get it with white rice and vegetables (up to you). Prices are good for the amount of food you get. it doesn't come with a drink so buy one separately. the kind ladies will cook it in front of you as you wait patiently in line. there are bags at the end of the line in case you want it to go. there are tables everywhere in the food court area to sit and get stuffed. there is also shrimp that I get sometimes. it's good also but I don't want it every time. food tastes and looks so delicious you won't wanna go any where else to eat when at the mall. They give out samples if you just wanna taste what you're missing out. I recommend this joint. Enjoy!

I am writing this with you, because I thought the Yelp score was disrespectfully low. No, Japan has been in town east for years, and has always had a steady wave of customers because of their great fried rice and good chicken I always get the chicken teriyaki with fried rice and vegetables, and it is consistently good and compared to a lot of other places they do fill up the entire box I now live in Colorado and every time we visit Kansas we go here the only critique I can give would be for them to get their own location instead of being in the mall! Definitely get this. Please try and try out the chicken teriyaki with fried rice!!!
Crab rangoons were great! The food is cooked well and that's the only thing we could say positively about it. There was absolutely no flavor no salt nothing. Apart from the Rangoon it was unbearably bland, the sushi roll was somehow bland?? just strange that nothing seemed to have flavor almost like some of it was just old ? I'm not sure if we will give it another try as the competition they have flavor is always great. But I'll get some more crab Rangoon
