So enjoyed this little mom/pop restaurant (maybe 20 ft wide!). Two people working and the older lady/cook spoke no English, always a good sign for the food. I had four $2 street tacos, assorted meats. All tacos and 3 sauces were great. The meat had some tasty crunch from cooking on a flat top. I can now say I’ve had beef head tacos! I will definitely go back.

Small, sparse joint with eight tables, which as the sign says, serves authentic Mexican street tacos. They also have burritos, tortas and quesadillas. That's it. You go to the counter, order what you need and pay. The food arrives in minutes and there are no utensils in sight. We were there on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and they only had two other tables occupied. They did have a steady stream of takeout customers though. The staff and customers mostly conversed in Spanish but the waiter did speak fluent English. The food was delicious. We ordered 6 different $2 tacos - barbacoa, carnitas, cabeza, lengua, carne asada and chorizo. Each taco was made up of two tiny soft corn tacos stuffed with meat, sliced onions, cilantro with a touch of jalapeños. Each one tasty, filling and unique. There were plenty of lime slices offered along with the usual red and green salsa. We also ordered a pollo quesadilla which was stuffed with cheese, onions and chicken. That was too much food for the two of us. We also split a Mexican Coke. Our bill came to $22.We will definitely visit again.

The food and service are excellent. The chorizo tacos were on point. While I was sitting there one of the owners offered to make me a steak tacos so I could try it, and it was great. No unique flavors or weird fusions. Just a small menu of authentic Mexican tacos. I highly recommend Tacos Authenticos.

Listen, when there’s a Mexican restaurant adjacent to a Mexican deli/grocery store, you know the food is going to be fire. The food at this place does not disappoint! The guy taking our order immediately turned around and made our order fresh, fast, and absolutely fantastic. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Also, when we went they were running a $1 taco Thursday deal… that simply can’t be beat!
