I decided to get a burger for lunch so I decided to try Walt’s. The cheeseburger and Fry combo was good and a decent portion. The best part of Walt’s was the staff. They were extremely helpful and friendly.

Friendly customer service. My opinion is they make the best hamburgers and I love there fries. Reminds me of the fries I would eat at the ball park when I was young. Never a long wait for my food.

Decided to stop here to get burgers to-go based on good reviews. So glad we did! Hamburgers were fresh and tasty and looked just like a hamburger ad! No squished buns here! French fries seemed homemade and were very good. Onion rings seemed frozen fare and not really good. The surprising best food was the chicken - the chicken tenders were amazing! I would swear they had just been dipped and cooked! So good! we also had shakes - one chocolate and one vanilla - and both were very good. Menu also offered pork options and some mexican food. Prices were reasonable - meal deals for $6 or $7. The drive in was quirky - like being back in the 50s. We loved it! Staff was nice and while it took about 10 minutes to get our food it was worth it. It also looks they have some in store seating, although we only do drive through given the pandemic. We will definitely visit again!

Don't mistake this for the many other walts hamburger joints around town. I decided to have my order as in eat in order. The staff was friendly and my food arrived in an adequate amount of time. The dining area was larger than expected and exceptionally clean. The menu had a variety of hamburgers and fried food. I went with the number seven, the Philly cheesesteak, french fries and drink. It was about eight bucks. I ordered it just as they serve it, with mayonnaise, onions, peppers and cheese. The cheesesteak may have been the greasiest cheesesteak sub I have ever eaten. And I don't mean this as a bad thing. Some are overly dry and tasteless, and this was not one of those. The steak was sliced thin and grilled up crispy, just the way I like it. I had to eat all of my fries before I could even attempt eating the sub since it was so flaming hot. Speaking of the fries, they were shoestring fries, but a little limp. They tasted just fine, but again, pretty greasy. I think if my fries weren't served just behind a table of eight military members, they would have been better. Often times the grease cools down after numerous orders, making fries less than ideal. Overall, a very pleasant experience and a good meal. I would recommend this establishment for others to enjoy. As far as Midwest cheesesteaks go, this is one to try!!
