One of my favorite places to eat in Wichita. My family eats here regularly. It has a nice and clean atmosphere. Many food choices and we have never been disappointed. It is not overly pricey. When I am sick it is the only food that makes me feel better. The miso soup is excellent for colds. Chef Duk is my favorite and has made us original meals that are not on the menu, it was exquisite.

We got 2 rolls, both of which were weirdly sweet and also slimy. After a few bites, we switched rolls. Tried the other's, paid, and left. Truly the worst sushi we've ever had.

Last Wichita stop for this trip. We had a party of 7 and got a table on Sunday as soon as they opened. Our server was so friendly and so attentive to all of our table. My husband and I ordered a Japanese burrito for an app that was so great. You could have this for your meal. Stuffed full of spicy tuna and crab. So yummy. I had a Ballentine roll (which has no rice). It was so delicious and filling. After our meal the server brought cute little orange teddy bears compliments of the chef. Highly recommend!

Delicious and pretty. Thursdays are half priced hot sake.Found a new favorite. The Gyudon Beef Bowl.I'm not a fat person it's always been disgusting for me, but here I see the appreciation. The fat is slivered along with the beef and it must be marinated or something because it is ridiculously savory. Piled high with onions over rice, paired with Miso Soup and pickled ginger. My favorite is to start with the Miso, then to eat the rice with the pickled ginger and save the beef for last.? God bless, Wasabi East.?

Fried calamari tasted microwaved and the sushi was just okay.

Lovely place and the sushi was so good!!! They seated us quickly, too. Didn't take long at all for us to get our food, especially since it was Valentine's Day. Me and my partner were not in a great mood when we got here, as another sushi place, Miya Izakaya, had just canceled reservations, kicked us out, and closed down at 7:30 with no explanation. This place is leagues better and everyone was much more personable!! We will definitely be coming back, especially for those delicious veggie rolls!!
