It’s a Root beer stand and on point! The root beer is so good, idk what the secret is but it blows A&W’s out of the water.I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and it was a size fit for a 215lb hungry biker and delicious! Crinkle cut fries were fresh with the right amount of crisp.I had a butter scotch milkshake to follow it up and it was as pleasing as the rest of the meal.If you’re traveling down 25E and hungry, I Highly recommend this place.
There isn't anything negative to say about Tommy's Root beer stand. The food is delicious and a fair price. They have TONS of different options unlike the root beer stand in Corbin. They also have wifi while you're sitting there waiting for the sweet ladies to bring you your food. The waitresses are always nice. The place is just so underrated. They're open all year around. Food was alright but the carhop wasn’t paying attention when we kept trying to wave her down just so we could get a simple ice cream cone. A person with that type of job should be more aware of their surroundings.
