Came from out of state, hoping to go to the gift shop here, it was closed to the public. We were told to go to Buffalo trace.

We only stopped by to taste their bourbon. Only to find out they are closing their doors to tours, gift shop and tasting area. The bourbon was so so.
Such a beautiful place to visit. And the staff was so friendly. We would visit again but tours will be stopping after June. :(

Definitely go now if you can, some pencil pusher has decided to shut it down at the end of June 2022. The staff is great, the tasting is the best in the area and the bung plugs souvenirs is awesome. Of the more than dozen places we visited this trip this is (was) one of the best!

We took the complimentary tour and tasting and are glad we did. I did make reservations, but there were only 8 of us on the tour, so it was a nice group. We were there at an off time. I believe our tour guide's name was Bernadette. She was knowledgeable, interesting and funny. The samples after were delicious, including the chocolate.

Really small distillery. Need better signs to visitors center as you have to drive by around trucks. Bourbon is pretty cheap.

Great tour. Kyle was a wonderful guide. He explained the bourbon making process very well and answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. It was the best tour we took while in the Bardstown area.
