Owner is incredibly knowledgeable, and friendly. Exceptional selection of whiskies and bourbons. If you are doing the "bourbon trail" or visiting Bardstown you have to stop in.

I had a great experience at The Blind Pig. I'm from out of town and was interested in bottles I couldn't get in VA, the shopkeeper gave great recommendations on bourbon unique to KY and also local Bardstown picks. He heard we were visiting and suggested other spots to hit around town to make the most of our Bardstown stop. If my travels ever bring me back I will definitely be visiting again.

Met Josh last month when we stopped in there for the first time. Great bourbon selection. Saw several bottles that are not available in Louisiana. He turned us on some Pursuit. Was very nice. Will visit again when we are back in the area. Would definitely recommend.

We wandered into the Blind Pig while on a pilgrimage to Bardstown. We had a chance to talk to the owner for a few minutes. He is a veteran, patriot, and bourbon aficionado. He had several bottles available for tasting at $5 for 2 samples. For a very small shop, he had a great selection and was knowledgeable enough to guide us through flavor profiles and Kentucky only options. Such a better option to taste a wide array of spirits.The owner is so nice and not the least condescending for the whiskey/bourbon rube I am.There is an industry rep also tasting additional spirits tonight and he was great too.Great recommendations from both for holidays cocktails for pre and post dinner.Had excellent mixers that I needed and what they didn’t have they made recs of what to get. I’m set for thanksgiving and Christmas with four recipes they wrote down for me.
